I have a PP from the 80's and still use it to this day!

AND it bought it from a place in Denton - when I lived in TX way back when...

I love PurplePlates!

One time I got a really bad burn on my thumb and it started to blister. I immediately placed my plate on the burn while dipping it in some water. That evening it still hurt a bit. The next day, my family and I went to a theme park and I brought my plate and carried it with my hands in my pocket. I did it the whole day. That blister was gone by the late-afternoon. Nearly completely! It was a really bad burn, too! It hurt A LOT but all the pain just disappeared that day.

Anywho, those things really work.

When I received the plate, I started opening the packaging, as you do... Immediatley, I started feeling....weak, flustered, anxious, shaky, rapid heart beating so loud that my ears couldn't take it...I had to sit down and focus on trying to breath and calm my racing heart.I was afraid because I couldn't (and still can't) understand what was happening to me. Like I was not in my own skin...or not a real body... Bizarre. I eventually managed to unpack the plate. I can not hold it or place it on me or these effects happen to me.

I tried it on my best friend. Mind, I got hold of the plate and handed it to her...in the few seconds I held the plate, the symptoms came back. Anyway, she was sitting on the sofa hugging the plate to her chest and tummy (I didn't tell her anything about it..) Anwyay, she started feeling relaxed and then drowsy and fell asleep on my sofa! It worked for her!

It's a shame that I react to it in this way...I suffer from migraines and really severe, debilitating period pain cramps and was hoping to use it to ease those symptoms...oh well.
