I have given up on a "super" multivitamin, cause the vitamin is just that, a dietary supplment for "vitamins."

I have been taking One A Day, Energy, and I take a plethora of other supplements, chosen for the health needs that I want to cover.

As far a minerals and electrolytes, mulit-vitamins just do not provide the recommended %.

Really, I get quite full feeling in the morning with my 10 or so supplements and a drinkable yogurt to take them with, but I feel a taylored approach to supplements with a basic multi vitamin is the best approach.

I read somewhere if you can find a knowledgeable and experience herbalist, you can have them make you a custom liquid multi-vitamin for like $20-40 for a months worth.

Have no idea where to look or even how they'd determine what to put in there for you specifically.

I'm just using some standard Centrum Performance although some people claim it's not that good a multi-vitamin to be taking.

Supposedly Now Foods makes a good multi for men but it can be a bit pricey. No idea if they have a women's version.

SOLGAR multi vitamins are great. Their Female plus for example, take 2 a day, plus add 1000 mg extra calcium. They correspond well with the doses of vitamins Dr Deepak Chopra recommends in his book Grow younger live longer.

I don't know if you've heard of Greens or Alive vitamins. Alive (which is one of the best that I've ever tried but hard to find) is awesome!! Greens is just as good too. I've included it in my vegetarian diet and it does make a difference in my life. I feel happier and more energetic.

Check out the nutrition info on Greens and also look up Alive vitamins.
