This has recently happened to me. While I am having my meal, all of a sudden I will feel that I am feeling a burp to come but then that gets stop and I feel a little pain in upper chest and then eventually burp comes after few seconds and I feel allright.
I don't know what is this problem.

Are you chewing your food properly before you swallow? Is the food too hot? Too cold? Are you swallowing too quickly and also swallowing air at the same time? All of these things have affected me at different times in the past.

I eat fresh cooked food(not very hot). I do eat food quickly, always in hurry.
