Does anyone know if they vitamins/antioxidants listed in Star Signs (in the immortality section) are safe to take at the exact doses listed there?

I do know that you need to be careful with vitamin A during pregnancy...."Pregnacare" do a multivitamin tablet suitable for pregnancy. I think you have to be careful as certain vitamins in excess may be harmful.

Rule of thumb is try and avoid anything in the first trimester but don't worry if you have (because most people have imbibed all manner of terrible substances before they realised they were pregnant).
After that only Vitamin A in large doses should be avoided.
Babies are lovely and they survive most things you can throw at them after that.

Most important thing....think lovely thoughts and relax. Nature has been handling this long before we got in the way!

Yeah, that's what I was kind of thinking too. Right now I am taking prenatal vitamins by Centrum/Materna. I think maybe I'll just stick with that for the rest of the pregnancy and nothing else.

Linda didn't suggest taking vitamin A.

I'd probably stick with the prenatals during pregnancy.

Oh I tell you what I did take when pregnant with my daughter. Apple cider vinegar (in capsules or on a spoon). It keeps your system alkaline
My daughter was born with so much straight upright black hair, she looked like she should be standing guard at Buckingham Palace!
