I'm interested in anyone's opinion of the following; I've always thought that diseases were only one way of manifesting a particular energy. But that if you could find an alternative way of expressing the same energy, at a different level that diseases can be eliminated.
For example when my father got cancer I looked at what was going on in his chart. The cancer occurred under a transit of neptune. I explained to him that it was time to get religion (one form of neptune's energy). It went against his grain, but eventually he took it to heart and when he truly allowed that experience, rather than resist, the cancer left.
I've had a few other experiences with finding other ways of expressing a planets energy.
I think we are given lessons/energies to work with at different times in our lives. And I believe that how it manifests depends on our level of consciousness and whether we work with it or don't.
Any thoughts?

Sure. I'm assuming you have a health issue then. At least tell me if it has been since birth, if it recently began or began some time ago. The reason being that I want to isolate the planet that is the problem.
Everybody has some negatively aspected planets in their charts. In some it comes out as a personality/emotional problem, or maybe they meet the obstacle through others. But the same aspect in another's chart manifests physically. Now why would that be?
I think that is why they say people who have pets are healthier in gerneral. I don't think it is that stroking the pet lowers the heart rate, etc. I think it is because the same house that rules health also rules pets. And if you have one there is the possiblily of a planet in the 6th house being met through a pet, it has somewhere else to go besides the health. (yes, I realize even pet owner get sick)
So sure I'll have a look at your chart.

I've read alot of books about people who become sick and how their emotions and thoughts have a large impact of them becomeing sick.

In fact, there isnt anyone I know who is really sick who hasnt been through some sort of traumatic events.

Im just not very good at reading charts. I get the basics, but thats not very helpful here.

And I've been sick for about 3 and a half years. And I do have a dog I've had her for over 5 yrs. But I've always had pets.

Im really curious to see if it's shows on the chart.

Hi Zenwarner! Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but with the up coming holidays I've been busy.
Okay, here it goes.You said the problem started about 3 1/2 years ago, so I looked up in the ephemeris what was going on in your chart at that time. To me the most important and possibly problematic aspect was neptune conjuncting your sun, going forward then backwards making numerous hits to your sun:
April 2004, retrograde in May/June, direct again in Feb. 2005, retrograde again in Aug/Sept. and finally direct Nov/Dec. of 2005.
I think this is the transit that coincides with your problem, because I think the aspect that poses the greatest threat to your health is mars conjunct venus on your Ascendant which squares neptunre on the midheaven. That the aspect already rules your body/Ascendant (because Asc. is Aries and mars is its ruler) but on top of that it conjucts your 2 most important angles in your chart!
The hard part of course is for me to guess how this manifests as a disease because I'm not a doctor, nor do I have much experience in medical astrology. It's easier for me to describe what was happening to you as neptune hit your sun, triggering this aspect. (or so I believe)
Neptune conjunct the sun brings a change in your identity. It is dissolving your old perception of yourself and moves you to become more identified with God and humanity. Your sun is ruler of (leo) the 6th house of health. But the 6th also rules service. Your sun is in the 11th. The sun rules building your 'self, identity', but placed in the 11th (groups of people) and ruler of 6th, you are supposed to build your identity through service to others and connecting to society, groups, etc rather than just the self.
Now the mars/venus square neptune aspect is one that makes you a notorious dreamer. You basically live in a dream land of your own creation. (I also have this but not so prominently placed) Truly you have the ability to "make things happen" through your thoughts/fantasy. (Nowadays they talk about 'visualization' as a way of making physical manifestation. So one of the problems is that you have to be very careful of what you think because your worry/ fantasies can really effect your body(Ascendant). It is very important that you not use drugs because you are in a way naturally high to begin with.
Okay on to the harder part. How did this aspect manifest physically? Well Aries is your rising sign and mars is involved in this so that points to the blood, red blood cells specifically, and the head. Neptune rules the immune system, in capricorn so perhaps it is connected to bones or the skeletal system. Venus is involved so it may effect the thyroid,liver. And if we throw in the sun (because the transit was occurring to the sun and it rules the health house in your chart) then it could be the heart,circulation. Although the sun rules the overall vitality in a person, so with neptune, it can drain your energy in general.
I would say that no matter how it manifested it is a debilitating disease because that is how neptune works.
Well give me some feed back and we'll take it from there. With my dad, I was already aware of the disease when I looked up what transits were occurring.
Here is another example from my life where there was a change in the manifestation of planets transiting because of a deliberate attempt to work consciously with the energy of the planets:
To make a long story short my 12 year old son had a lump in his lymph node behind his ear. 3 doctors wanted to operate-- one after only spending not 5 minutes with my son. This operation was serious because they would have to crack open the jaw and it would leave the face muscles permanently slack!! Finally the 4th Dr. agreed to give us one month. The 5th house rules children but also hobbies, uranus/neptune can rule loss but also astrology/religion. I (prayed and as an act of faith..) gave up my astrology and the hundreds of dollars worth of astro books I'd had. Neptune rules religion but also sacrifice. (And it was a sacrificed, I spent my whole life doing astrology and one day just threw it away -- the whole time crying and I truly felt the loss of such sacrifice.) Anyway when we went back to the Dr., he even stuck a needle in my son's neck to confirm what he called a miracle. There was no lump and we've never had a problem since. Basically I took the sudden but voluntary loss of my identity (also ruled by 5th house) thru astrology/hobby rather than loss of my son.
Now after 5 years I suddenly picked it back up (but it was meant to be, since it was during a uranus transit... but that's another story.)
