I love them!
My biggest problem has been being unable to find a grinder that flax seed grinding does not burn out.

Flaxseed oil doesn't work for me.

I lack the ability convert ALA into DHA. That is typical with neurodivergents (Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD,Aspergers,Autism).
Therefore, I take fish oil/cod liver oil to get my Omega 3 Fatty acids, especially DHA.

There is one big way that I know that fish oil/cod liver oil is working much better on me compared to flaxseed oil. When I take cod liver oil/fish oil, I have less activity in my frontal lobe of my brain even when I have stress. Without it, when I am under stress and under high stimulation in the external environmental,I get confused, feel easily overwhelmed, and overreact to the stimuli which is a typical issue with neurodivergents that tend to have sensory integration issues. This is true for me with my Dyslexia,Dyspraxia,ADHD. The cod liver/fish oil tones down my sensitivity and emotionality. That's mainly from the DHA. Omega 3 Fatty acids deficiencies are found to be connected to the neurodivergent conditions, Dyslexia,Dyspraxia, and ADHD. I first learned about that from the book, LCP Solution which is about how fish/cod liver oil helps Dyslexics,Dyspraxics,ADHDers.

Flaxseed oil doesn't have any effect on me in regards to cutting down on frontal lobe activity, hypersensitivity, and emotionality

Besides all that, flaxseed is a great nutrition supplement and has health benefits.

I prefer cod liver oil too.
However I am concerned about possible mercury.

I use the old-fashioned way to grind my flaxseeds: mortar and pestle.
