I was just thinking, after pouring over some of the more unconventional posts about DNA....
$8000 is a lot of money, and adoption is noble, but if I donate my eggs, am I responsible for what happens to that child? Morally, I mean?
What if my DNA really is some alien mix, and I incarnated specifically to attain a certain goal, wouldn't that make my DNA and my child's DNA unique, and therefore non-transferable? The whole idea of someone else raising my child is disturbing enough anyway... Any thoughts?
*edit* Should I post this somewhere else?

Maybe you can copy this post to Labors of Love? (it's also a parenting forum.)
