Just off the top of my head hippi I should imagine bentonite clay would work. Supposedly more effective than charcoal. An Epsom salt soak also. And why not the ol' cabbage leaf? Works on mastitis so it obviously takes down inflammation. There is a homeopathic remedy (colchinine) for gout. My ex husband (No.2 ) used to suffer with it. Mostly in his big toe. It looked so painful I actually felt for him!....that's how bad it was!! He did once get it in the end of his nose. Now that was just plain hilarious! IP: Logged |

Just google bentonite clay for advanced info. and suppliers. It is the stuff they use in these body wraps to lose inches because it draws impurities out. You can also take it internally mixed with water. Oh yum!!!IP: Logged |

Here Terri, for the Calcium Bentonite Clay: http://www.livingclayco.com Testimonials and a discussion group here: http://www.aboutclay.com/clay_info.htm I started drinking it yesterday It actually has very little taste, bunnies It looks sorta like a vanilla milkshake when it's mixed in a 1:8 ratio of clay to water. And I have a "poultice" on my hands right now (for my psoriasis) covered by those plastic gloves that food service workers wear -- I mixed the clay into a thick paste that I spread on my hands and then put the gloves on. 15-20 minutes is recommended, then rinse it off. The clay bath is a good option too..... You can get a starter kit with the book here: http://www.livingclayco.com/products1.html (in the Gift Bags section near the bottom of the page) A forum on gout being treated with ACV & other substances: http://ehealthforum.com/health/topic44419.html IP: Logged |
