yummm, fresh sprouts!! my favourites are wheat berries, alfalfa, aduki and garbanzo beans...hummus made with sprouted garbanzos, lots of garlic, one of the most delicious things i have ever tasted. and they really do increase your energy level!i think the author who turned me onto these was leslie kenton, a british/american journalist, in the 80's. some great recipes as well as instructions in her book... You don't need a sprouter any old container will do. Bought some seeds from my local natural grocery store and just started using them the other day, looking forward to when they are ready. IP: Logged |
