Any advice?I am thinking it's my best option while pregnant. I can't take pau d'arco at least until I finish breastfeeding. I feel like I have a higher ratio of yeast in my body since I've been eating a lot of sugar in the past few months and would like to kill some off. Anyone used it before? By the way, a tip: You can find out your yeast load by spitting into a glass of water first thing in the morning and swirling your saliva around, if its cloudy there's yeast, if it's clear, you're good. My skin feels sometimes itchy and I feel inflammation in different parts of my body, you know that yeasty feeling? It's not too bad but I like to keep my ecology nice and clean. IP: Logged |

You should ask LMK. She uses it every day. I've read that it's not recommended during pregnancy, though. Maybe you can get the same results with consuming lots of raw garlic instead?Candida test: http://www.candida-albicans-cure.com/candida-test.html#FreeTest You probably have seen this already, SC, but I'm putting it out there for all. aromatherapists traditionally advise against the use of oregano oil during pregnancy. i don't know what kind of oregano oil you are talking about though?live yogurt can help combat yeast. you can use it topically as well as internally. of course it may not fit your raw regime... IP: Logged |

I'm with Yin. Garlic is the way to go. I prefer the garlic oil capsules because the chopped up cloves upset my stomach too much.IP: Logged |

Thanks Yin! I might IM LMK and see what she thinks but I might take the popular advice and not have it through the pregnancy.I find garlic quite strong but it may be the only option for now. IP: Logged |

Kat, sure, Sugar? well sugar is abundant in fruit! I love my fruit. I'm just super sensitive.BTW, I'm not a 100% raw foodist. I like raw organic biodynamic yogurt, I am just a "best ever superfood eater"... no rules, just "is this the best I can get and is it good for me?"

mmm honey, maple syrup- can't say no. I feel better all of a sudden. I have cut down so I think it has helped. I feel more alkaline too, acidity can make the skin itchy. IP: Logged |
