As my doctor told me that neuralgia is a pain where that pain can't be proved with any medical investigation, like X-rays, CT scan or MRI. Nobody can see the nerve.
Because I have steady pains in the right eye (like a knife stab), right cheek bone, right neck muscle and all along to the right shoulder muscle, I have started to make photos from myself to see (and show) how it looks like to have it. I see that the right side of the face (and the nose) is drawing down. It is some combination of trigeminal nerve (maxillaries) and shoulder nerve (suprascapular). They "meet" each other on the top of the neck muscle.

Without pains, I have normal nose and normal face and there is no difference between left and right side.

Ok Bonadea,
I have been researching something really interesting recently that i think will help you.
In fact, i just bought one - i'll let you know how it goes.
Here's the website - this should get rid of all your pain. It's called a Zapper and it works. I know people who have been using them for years and literally can't live without them!

Hi Cathy,

Sorry, I am not looking here and didn't see the post.
Today I feel very tired. Maybe is the weather or I am week, because don't eat properly since two months (because of mouth ulcer). Pains are over but I still must eat only the soup, wine grapes and milk.

Thank you,
Bobbie

Hi Lara,

What a nice surprise! I didn't expect you here.

I know that in UK is medicine for me. I have got twice right pills for me. Now, I still have some and they help me for last 5 years but the pills are no solution.
It is still better than to suffer pains every single day.

I will study that what you wrote here.

Pills from UK can come to me only over friends in London. I must know, are they right or not.

Thank you very much,
Bobbie

I don't think pills are the long-term solution Bonadea... pain is mostly associated with acid and nerve pain is really painful, i've been there myself.

As soon as my zapper arrives and i've had a chance to see its effects i'll let you know

I'm sorry you have to deal with this pain. I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia a couple of years ago. I was prescribed Neurontin but didn't take it because it wasn't worth the side effects. Mine seems to come and go (and it's recently appeared again) I have a TENS unit for pain that gives some relief and my insurance covered the expense last year. My next step is to properly treat my TMJ. My massage therapist has specialized training with TMJ relief and trigger point relief. I had 3 rounds of Physical Therapy over a year and half to get my neck and shoulder and clavicle muscles back in alignment. I still do my stretching every 3-4 days to maintain and prevent. Diet is important to control inflammation at the cellular level.
I hope you find some comfort for your pain.

Hi Lara and mermaid26.

I think that I am finally on the right trace. I had last year four times Reiki massage and then have stopped. This time, therapist brought some special ointment and gave me first massage, Monday October 4th. I had it yesterday again.
There is nothing wrong with my sinusitis or anything in the head. What I have in fact: all over ligaments and muscles are very, very painful. The worst place is between my neck and shoulder scapula. There is something very hard and when he presses on that place, terrible pain is going over to the face and the right eye. Maybe is Nerve Subscapularis as I have since 1996: Neuralgia Subscapularis.
My right shoulder blade is very painful. I was told about shoulder blade, the year 1985. After that I went every year once to have therapy (he calls it magneto-therapy, on the basis of the honey). It was very good but now he lives too far. He also told me then, that all my muscles beside the spine are very wrong. As this man is no medical doctor, I didn't tell it to my doctors.
What is interesting: I was told here that all my pains in the face are from the neck muscle. EMG has shown: the neck muscle is OK. It was the same with muscle Supraspinatus: it is very painful but again EMG shows, all is right.
I had X-rays from all spines, 1993 and again, May this year. First time there were two ligaments in oscillation and now is only Ligament Nuchae. You can see how far is going this ligament. Strange is here that CT scan of the neck didn’t show any ligament.
This therapist is much better than Orthopaedist: from the simple reason as he touches all my ligaments and muscles and his fingers feel, where is right and where is wrong.
Something else has confused me: Orthopaedist told me, my pains are not from the neck. Other doctors told me, it is from the neck muscle. Yesterday this man has explained that the neck muscle doesn't belong to the neck but to the shoulder blade.
Now, I need the proof for that, black on the white. My best Orthopaedist has died, two weeks ago.
I have a book about all what belongs to the spine. There is also written that ligaments are very difficult to threat. They also cause my blocked blood circulation.

Here is Ligament nuchae: http://tinypic.com/r/2vccm7c/7

Here is link about Supraspinatus muscle: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-the-supraspinatus-muscle.htm

Thank you both for kind advice,
Bobbie

p.s. I hope to find relief for my pains.

I have new news:

My therapist told me that my face is swollen because of lymph's.

My pains on the right shoulder are because of tendons and I should look that.

He did one kind of massage for lymph's and other for tendons (ligaments).

All I need now is the right food (diet) for both of them.

Until today I have done thousand photos from the nature: for some Forums and for my Blog (Album).
At the same time I do photos from me, because I am really like a Chameleon (because of strange pains):
I change from one hour to another.

My ORL doctor (giving me therapy for mouth ulcer, almost two months) told me that my diagnosis:

Rhinosinusitis chr. hypertrofica

as also problems with mouth sky are because of my weak Immune System.

I didn't want to believe that I have Sinusitis but I do have: very dry mucus membrane, where nothing flows away. Trigeminal neuralgia is because of Sinusitis.

How I came to my own photo research?

I am searching cause for my pains since September 1989 (very long time) and I am still on the beginning, although I know much more about my pains situation but I have to do my own research all myself.

Since 2008 I was trying to come to some Research Medical Centre in Europe to see what is wrong with me and that somebody can connect all I have. Unfortunately I didn't get references from doctors here and also Health Insurance doesn't pay it.

In the last years I took lots of pills more times (in other countries) because of steady pains, but in the last minute I have called doctors and told them what have I done. I can't do that because of the people they care about me.

March/April 2006 I was in the hospital (because of that) and there was very kind doctor. He was friendly and has visited me every day in the room. When I wasn't there my room mate told him: "I am not the right one. She (me) is not here"
One day I went to his office, took my disk where were few my photos. One of the photos was 20 years old. I told him that I have very hard and sharp pains in the eyes, cheek and jaw bones. I also told him that my pains change my look, totally.
I gave him disk with that photo and asked him to look at me, how different am I (I had pains there, every day).
He told me back: you look to me the same as on this photo (he was always extra friendly to me)
I told him: please, look better and try to help me.
He told me: maybe you are now older 5 years than on the photo but nothing more.
He was 22 years younger than me and the only married man, I liked very much (with Pisces Sun).
Of course, he was a psychiatric and had no idea about neuralgias and all other, what was wrong with me.

Second time was this summer.
In February I have started to get blockade for Trigeminal Neuralgia from female doctor in the Hospital pain’s-therapy. I have got about five injection but they didn't help me. She is Anaesthetist and she is also not the right person to give injections for Trigeminal Nerves.
After that I stopped to go there.

One day in summer I have sent her my three photos:
1. 1 photo from October 2009 (terrible photo)
2. 1 photo, 24 years old, where I look almost normal.
3. 1 photo, when I was 22 years old.

She wrote me back:
you were very beautiful woman. She didn't understand that this photo, 2009 was made after I was on the wind (my great enemy) and my face and neck muscles were swollen all over.
I was a bit disappointed with her answer and wrote her back: the last photo shows my pains!

I thought then: if she doesn't understand my pains, in that case I will do my own research and one day I will post all of them, somewhere, where whole World can see difference between me with pains and me without pains. Maybe somebody will help me then, even if will be tooo late!

Dear Ami,

You are lovely person.

Can you see how I have to be my own doctor? I have (and had) study almost all anatomy for my case.
The best "doctors" for me are pharmacists: two days ago one woman there (Leo) told me that my Immune System could be weak because of Thyroid, as Thyroid is responsible for Autoimmune System.
Of course that could be true: I was born with small Thyroid and nobody has seen that until I didn't ask doctor (21 years ago) to see my Thyroid. I was right: I had “at once” Hypotireosis (it works to slow and is too small).

I am still not "normal" as I should be, but I do more therapies and maybe one day will be all OK!

My photo research: deleted photos!
(danger of black magic)

I want to prove that I look normal and I wasn't born with swollen neck muscle or swollen cheek bones; less with small and hidden eyes.

As I have collected all possible diagnosis about my chronic pains (none is dangerous)
Now, I have all double:

1. Double sinusitis: maxillaries and frontalis;
2. Double pinched nerve: neck nerve Subscapular (in the neck muscle) and Trigeminal 2 (in the nose - this one I was told already 1995, but didn't believe)
3. Double muscle pain: neck muscle and shoulder muscle (Supraspinatus);
4. Double bone pains: jaw bone and cheek bone (lately also eye brow bone).
5. I have eyes pains every single day, because of the pressure from the bones, all over.

Beside that, all my mucus membrane is inflamed: from the top until down there (some kind of catarrh).

The year 2001 I have found in library in old Encyclopaedia, why certain tablets helped me.
There is explanation about Rheumatic Myalgia because of Neurovegetative System. It depends very much from the weather, what is true.

More important here are tablets for that:

Amitron hydrochloride
Pavatrin hydrochloride
Adifemin hydrochloride
Diciklomin hydrochloride.

From 1998-2000 I had two different tablets for myalgia:

Sirdalud, 4 mg
Tramadol, 500

From the end of 2000 they didn't help me at all. Nothing else is there, as well.
I have told to my doctor about that and he told me back: that is very old Encyclopaedia and those pills are no more for sale. I won't find them at all. Is there something else: there is only Sirdalud. That was it.

Now, I have to study where from comes my myalgia. I was told that pains are going from the muscle Supraspinatus (shoulder muscle) to the neck muscle, Levator scapula) and not other way around. This Levator scapula is pressing on the nerve, going into Sinusitis.
I have tried to drink more water (in fact, 1/10 of dense fruit juice and 9/10 water). It is much worse after that.

As I am wanderer through the Forums, I was also in Vedic Astrology Forum; Palmistry reading Forum (I have posted there my birthday, my photo and my both palms). They wrote me back, it is all from my liver: do I drink a lot? I don’t drink at all, because after that I have more pains, especially after drinking wine (or anything sour).

I am sick of begging for the help. I have to find solution for my liver (I have liver cysts), tendons and muscles. Funny: nothing is wrong on the face, but all pains from other parts are coming to the face.

Hello Bonadea...im extremely sorry for you.
I can see God has given you immense strength to fight back your pain, yes he is always by your side remember that.
From what i could gather Neuralgia is basically a VITAMIN B12 DEFECIENCY.
SO u neeed to take very high supplements of VITAMIN B COMPLEX.
Are u taking that?
Since it is established that you have FACIAL NEURALGIA..oral supplements will take a long time to correct Even if the deficiency is mild, but is causing symptoms, it is better to use reliable methods, such as an injection or a nasal spray.
here is a link that i came across...

list of known and suspected causes:
A blood vessel presses against the root of the trigeminal nerve.

Multiple sclerosis - due to demyelinization of the nerve. Trigeminal neuralgia typically appears in the advanced stages of multiple sclerosis.

A tumor presses against the trigeminal nerve. This is a rare cause.

Physical damage to the nerve - this may be the result of injury, a dental or surgical procedure, or infection.

Family history (genes, inherited) - 4.1% of patients with unilateral trigeminal neuralgia (affects just one side of the face) and 17% of those with bilateral trigeminal neuralgia (affects both sides of the face) have close relatives with the disorder. Compared to a 1 in 15,000 risk in the general population, 4.1% and 17% indicate that inheritance is probably a factor.

Prevention
There are no guidelines for preventing the development of trigeminal neuralgia. However, the following steps may help prevent attacks:
Eat soft foods.
Make sure your drinks and foods are not too cold or hot when you consume them.
Wash you face with lukewarm water (body temperature).
Use cotton pads when washing your face.
Rinse your mouth with lukewarm water after eating if tooth brushing triggers an attack.
Avoid known triggers as much as possible.

do you have any idea as to what triggers it in your case?

Many members of my family...granny, dad and uncle...take a very popular medicine due to some nervous disorders...so i checked back on the same medicine and to my amazement i found it works even for your condition ie
facial neuralgia..
it is 'NEUROBION FORTE'
However from my research i found that a variation of the same medicine is used for
neuralgia as well..it works good
it is DOLO-NEUROBION

just plain neurobion also works for the same condition.. links
