I'm fuming and i have to vent, sorry..
I'm SO anti vaccinations of anything! I recently put my youngest son into a new school and they have sent me all this crap about 'how you must vaccinate' (yawn) your child blah blah blah. Anyway, they have also sent me a table chart of which vaccines they give in which month and basically, a child is receiving SEVENTEEN different vaccinations (grouped into 4/5 in each shot) within the first 13 months of its life.

WTF?

This just makes me see red when i am reminded of how incompetent parents can sadly be, when it comes to responsibility of knowing whats going into your child's body and its NOT their fault. Parents have a right to know about vaccines, instead of being bullied and scared into giving them to their kids.

How can a child possibly build a healthy immune system when its fighting 17 vaccinations in the first year of its life? I despair

I plead anyone not to vaccinate their kids. None of mine are vaccinated and they are bright, healthy and 'think for themselves' kids.

As LEXX brilliantly said to me (and i hope she doesn't mind me quoting her) "is that why they call it a "practice"? because they are just experimenting on folks?"

LOL @ lexx's remark...be careful to appear as compliant as you can, i hear the british are relieving parents of their children with pretty flimsy excuses these days! but of course you are right. my grandson was 4 when they gave him a coctail of supposedly "required" vaccines and his immune system was knocked for a loop for 3 YEARS during which he was unable to be as physically active as that age should be...due to the possibilities of fatal bleeding out from "normal" childhood injuries...

I hope your grandson is now back to flying form. It's so sad. I have a good friend whose son was given MMR at 18 months. That night he had a roaring temp and screamed all night. The next day he was a mute. This intelligent boy turned into a monster overnight. He is now in a care home. His parents look 20 years older than their years and their marriage is in tatters. They looked after him until he was 12 when he was banging his head straight through walls and setting fire to things in the house. Out of fear of his own danger they decided that the only thing left to do was get him 24 hr care
It has destroyed them. All because of a vaccine. Tragic.

Yes, luckily my doctor has retired and he was private so i just say they've had everything and blah blah blah lol

I know, the whole situation has had me in tears before. It's going to be a life long fight, the fight started with her father... but I won
My 3 y/o has not had one Vax, I'm not really sure of the "program"... purely because she has NEVER been to a health nurse or a doctor who has given me any information, because she has never been ill. But one day I received a letter in the mail from the government listing all the vaccines Tahlea has not been given, the list was so long I ripped it up

Kids have horrible immune systems, all my friends kids (who I barely get to hang out with) are sick with Gastro, ear infections, pneumonia, flu, ect.. every day I hear of another family fighting off a sickness, my family wont socialise all that often because so many are sick. Not to mention all the immune deficiency symptoms like eczema, asthma, allergies, behavioral problems ect...

Vaccines can and do cause brain damage and immune damage, that is a tragic story Lara.

fortunately GS is back to his superb self. it was a gruelling few years though, and i believe his naturally better-than-normal immune system is why...shortly after he fell ill the chicken pox vaccine was removed from the "required" list which is actually nothing of the sort, it is a "desired" list. desired by the schools.

when my daughter was small i requested she NOT have the whooping cough vaccine that was HIGHLY suspect at the time. the bloody woman gave it to her and then said "oops! i forgot not to mix in the whooping cough!" my daughter screamed for 24 hours too. she had no more shots from THAT doctor and no more of that vaccine, nor did she get any of the other newer ones. polio, diptheria, smallpox and tetanus, and not all at the same time....same as i had in the dark ages!and i am going to live to 150!

Sunchild, yes i know. I am shocked at reading the list of vaccines that my 3 sons should have had. When i think about the whole vaccination programme in detail, i also am in tears. It's very frustrating to have knowledge about something that everyone just allows to happen day in day out without even a thought as to what these jabs are doing to our planets future caretakers.
*sigh*
My kids are also never ill and i'm also anti all that Calpol and temperature-reducing crap kids get fed by the bucketload.
I feel so strongly about it and yet, so helpless. You sound like a wonderful mother Sunchild. Your angels are very lucky to have you
