I can't do the dishes and I find changing nappies really frustrating, my finger is sooo sore. I cut my cuticle and now it's infected. Went to the docs to get some stronger creams because the ones I was using did nothing and my finger was getting worse. It's bacterial, not fungal. The Doc prescribed me Cephalexin, antibiotic, but you know me, I really am stubborn when it comes to antiobiotics, so I thought i'd wait til the morning and if my finger was getting better then I wouldn't take them, but my finger became much worse, looked horrible and ever so painful! I was worried about the infection, the doc said I had to be careful cos I'm pregnant, now I'm taking the antibiotics to be safe. I've tried natural remedies but i think I'm past that point now, and don't want to be a fool and end up in a terrible situation. I'm doing the right thing yes? It seems stupid over a tiny cuticle infection but I heard it can spread, and got me worried. IP: Logged |

How long have you got it? How serious is the infection now? Have you tried soaking it into hydrogen peroxide? Sending healing thought to your finger! IP: Logged |

Stick it in honey for as long as you have time each day, and then wrap it in between with a bandage covered in honey.IP: Logged |

How's the finger today? It sounds a bit like Paronychia.. you should always disinfect the cuticle nippers or whatever you used to cut your cuticles. It'll probably heal faster to just take the meds and use the ointment. Sorry you're in pain.------------------ "Play it f*ckin' loud!" — Bob Dylan IP: Logged |

Glad you are better Antibiotics and other drugs are needed, sometimes. I was bitten by a brown recluse spider.I had to take drugs However,if I had the black salve,it could have pulled it out.Are you familiar with it? ------------------ Enlightenment doesn't result from sitting around visualizing images of light, but from integrating the darker aspects of the self into the conscious personality Jung I am my Beloved's.My Beloved is mine. Did you use your purple plate at all? or a zapper? i had icky ticks from crawling and walking through the woods and brush and each left a little itchy infected place on my skin-I put red clay on and alcohol which helped and then a zapped the places. The infections went away and the itching stopped! I am glad you are better as infections nowadays can lead to some very bad things! hows the orgonite?IP: Logged |
