This is a drug I refuse to take.
It promises to help with some of my woes;
Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and so forth.

Important Safety Information About Cymbalta
The most important information you should know about Cymbalta:

Antidepressants can increase suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children, teens, and young adults. Suicide is a known risk of depression and some other psychiatric disorders. Call your doctor right away if you have new or worsening depression symptoms, unusual changes in behavior, or thoughts of suicide. Be especially observant within the first few months of treatment or after a change in dose. Approved only for adults 18 and over.
Cymbalta® (duloxetine HCl) is not for everyone.

Do not take Cymbalta if you:

have recently taken a type of antidepressant called a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) or Mellaril® (thioridazine)
have uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma (increased eye pressure)

Talk with your healthcare provider:

about all your medical conditions, including kidney or liver problems, glaucoma, diabetes, seizures, or if you have bipolar disorder.
Cymbalta may worsen a type of glaucoma or diabetes
if you have itching, right upper belly pain, dark urine, yellow skin/eyes, or unexplained flu-like symptoms while taking Cymbalta, which may be signs of liver problems.
Severe liver problems, sometimes fatal, have been reported

about your alcohol use
about all your medicines, including those for migraine, to address a potentially life-threatening condition. Symptoms may include high fever, confusion, and stiff muscles
if you are taking NSAID pain relievers, aspirin, or blood thinners. Use with Cymbalta may increase bleeding risk
before stopping Cymbalta or changing your dose
if you experience dizziness or fainting upon standing while taking Cymbalta. This is likely to occur in the first week or when increasing the dose, but may occur at any time during treatment
about your blood pressure. Cymbalta can increase your blood pressure. Your healthcare provider should check your blood pressure prior to and while taking Cymbalta
if you experience headache, weakness, confusion, problems concentrating, memory problems, or feel unsteady while taking Cymbalta, which may be signs of low sodium levels
if you develop problems with urine flow while taking Cymbalta
if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during therapy, or are breast-feeding

Most common side effects of Cymbalta (this is not a complete list):

nausea, dry mouth, sleepiness, fatigue, constipation, dizziness, decreased appetite, and increased sweating

You are encouraged to report negative side effects of Prescription drugs to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch or call 1-800-FDA-1088.
Other safety information about Cymbalta:

Cymbalta may cause sleepiness and dizziness. Until you know how Cymbalta affects you, you should not drive a car or operate hazardous machinery.
How to take Cymbalta:

Take Cymbalta exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. Cymbalta should be taken by mouth. Do not open, break or chew capsule, it must be swallowed whole. Cymbalta can be taken with or without food.

See Prescribing Information, including Boxed Warning about antidepressants and risk of suicide, and Medication Guide.

Well I am not a fan of medicine, the only I take atm are anti allergy pills.

Not sure what to advice you, but it sounds really bad. The question is, can you try it for a few days? If you feel anything at miss, you could just dump them in the bin.

Last time I tried to take the antibaby pill, which was in March 2011, about two months into the start of that Kundalini stuff - I was considering it because all of a sudden I had the effin feeling that I was pregnant and my body going happily along with it and I totally stressed out over it - no logical reason whatsoever why I should have been pregnant ... anyway, after 3 days I felt totally detached from my body and by day 9 I wanted to do nothing but keep banging my head on the wall.
Needless to say, those infernal things are in drug heaven now.

No way am I taking it.
Some other meds that are since banned that I was on caused a few mini-strokes.
Some caused blindness episodes.
Some weight gain.
There were/are other trouble makers.....
so no, I will not take a thing that has side effects as bad as what they are for or worse.
My ex tried to kill himself under a similar one and did die in 2005 from another "side effect". I had to do CPR and bring him back.
He has been messed up bad since.

Oh I was given statins.
3 months of agonising muscle pain and creaking joints.
I am a personal trainer by the way and I was like
"What the flip is happening to me suddenly??
It was only that I remembered in a dim and distant memory once reading an article about the effects.
When I mentioned to the doctors they chirruped
"Oh yes! Quite common. But if it gets serious stop taking them....cos you can actually...er....die

I said "I shall take my chance with cholesterol"

Two days after stopping. Not an ache, not a twinge.
Horrendous.
And on reading more stuff about them?
Never on God's green earth will those things again pass my lips.
I don't care if there is pure lard running through my veins,
Fine by me

Medical science is the modern equivalent of the dark ages. In a century or so, they will look back on us and just shake their heads. Vaccines alone are cause for shock. Cholesterol as we know it in the medical view doesn't really exist. The amount of cholesterol one eats has no direct relation to the amount in one's blood. It's all about how we metabolize the cholesterol in our diet. Homocysteine levels tear at blood vessels, and our bodies create cholesterol to patch the damage. Over time, yes, this can be dangerous (but it would be more dangerous if we didn't have that protective mechanism). So, forget about cholesterol levels and focus on homocysteine levels. Lower that, and cholesterol will naturally follow.

They are really pushing cymbalta right now too..

It's interesting how tied up their budget/finances are into the major pharmaceuticals at a lot of these places.. but I've been too bogged down to have all the super cool research handy.

The only anti-depressant that ever worked for me was wellbutrin and has been proven to cause breast tumors.. maybe cancer. I don't believe in taking drugs tantamont to placebos with side effects. They make a lot of money though, and you have to take a placebo to get out of the psych ward lol..
