i've had this, i think 3-4 times in the last 2 years. now i'm having it again and i have no idea what it is.

the first time, i seriously started worrying, wondered kidney infection... i started drinking lots of water. after over 1 month, it just went away. then it happened again once or twice, but again it went away and i didn't even really pay attention, it was just gone.

since yesterday i'm experiencing it again. i have pain in the general lower back, thigh areas, and i am reeeeally fatigued. at the moment i am even having a slightly hard time typing comprehensively. i'm not sleepy, just exhausted from doing nothing.

i don't have any health problems that i know of and not taking any medications or antibiotics. i have had a pretty low-activity life since 2 years ago... i normally just sit around the house and go grocery shopping, and once or twice a week go for 2-4 hour bike rides. it's not intensive exercise biking though. just around the city.

i'm eating not that unhealthy. i used to not eat breakfast, but i do now since a few weeks ago and i try to eat heavy breakfast/lunch with eggs/carbo plus vegetables, then dinner only consisting vegetables and cheese/cream etc. i find it's easier on my digestion when i don't eat too much flour/pasta stuff at night. i eat yoghurt with honey or broccoli or carrot when i get hungry at night. i eat yoghurt almost daily. i also drink 2-3 cups of coffee throughout the day but avoid after 6. sometimes i eat a bit too much sugar, but that's spontaneous. today i have high cacao dark chocolate for my sweet tooth need. oh and i drink 1-2 glasses of red wine every evening. i definitely don't drink enough water. 500ml-1l max/day. i've always been this way since i was a child. when i tried to drink more water it was torturous. but i was recommended to continue till my body goes through a conversion to water-taking body… i'm not keeping up so well with that…!

i suspect that this weird fatigue is again temporary and pass in a week to max 1 month, but i wonder what it is... has anyone else experienced things like this? if it would continue, i'd definitely be more alarmed, but it goes away and doesn't come back months and months, that i really forget. and i cannot see what triggers it either.

I am thinking on it. I think there IS something. I don;t think it is a serious disease but an ISSUE.
This is not psychic but just some thoughts.
Try to eat as much raw food as you can.Try to get it to 75% raw.
Raw food has energy inherent in it.The enzymes are pure energy. Cooking or processing kills the enzymes.
Energetically,it is dead food

Ana Brett on my Friends list is a Kundalini Yoga teacher. get some DVD's.
If you don't do the yoga--look up the Dog pant breath.
Work your way up to 15-20 minutes of just this breath. You don't have to do postures. Just do the breath--to music if you want.

You need energy.

The bloat is poor digestion which I have too.
Anxiety and fear halts digestive juices so the food stays there and you get the gas and bloating cuz it is not digesting right.

Yes, pure water is good.

I am here if you have any questions

Yes you need to do that. When i feel tired i switch over to things which will give me direct energy. I think you might be eating sugar because of that too. What about honey? Do you like it? It gives us direct nutrition. Our body doesn't need to digest it. Guess why?
OK. And raw fresh veggies too as Ami has mentioned.

If you want to eat cooked food. Do so immediately. Like as soon as you cook - Eat it. Don't keep it for hours. The key word is FRESH food. And the recipe should be simple and not complicated. The more complicated it is the more difficult it is for digestion. Eat light and avoid heavy food like meat for sometime. This is a sure recipe for getting loads of energy very quickly. TRY IT.

thanks Ami.

i did raw food for a while 2 years ago, again when i had the same thing. honestly i couldn't tell if it was working or not! lol but i was eating a pretty high percentage of raw back then.

i don't think it's a serious disease either... i just don't know what triggers it.

i even thought maybe yeast over-growth, because some of my symptoms overlap. but i really never get yeast infection, which should be one of the main problems that comes with it for women. i only suffered from it twice in my life and that's a looong time ago.

i think i will try to switch to raw gradually again, and see how it feels this time.

one thing with the breathing exercise is that i have a hyperventilation problem. it interferes meditations too. i just start feeling suffocated whenever i have to control my breathing. uggghhhh...

oops abcd, i didn't see your post!

i started eating more sugar, unfortunately when i started becoming financially scarce. i would never touch refined sugar! but since then i got the habit, but i don't eat that much anymore. i used to buy cheap cookies loaded with sugar and would eat the whole package in one day. very bad!!

but nowadays i don't eat so much of things like cookies… normally i only like chocolate for sweets, no candies etc. but i eat honey everyday. i'm addicted! i normally eat it with yoghurt…

when i do cook, i try not to overcook. and i prefer cooking methods that don't drain out the vitamins etc. too much. preferable steaming, but if not i stop cooking them when they are still semi-raw. i only cook what i can eat in one shot too.

What type of yoghurt do you eat?
If it's the low fat ones then they are loaded with sugar but the bloated stomach and the tiredness suggests a food intolerance.
Try cutting out the yoghurt for a week and see how you feel.
We tend to crave the foods our bodies end up becoming intolerant to.
Cows milk and the milk sugars could be causing the bloating.
Keep a food diary.
Start eliminating a food a week and keep a note of your symptoms.
You may be surprised.

Also have your ovaries checked.
Aching thighs and back pain can sometimes be linked to ovarian issues.

you mean any regardless of what yoghurt i eat i should try and cut it out of diet? i eat regular yoghurt. regular... don't know how else to describe it!

i've never ever in my life had problems with dairy products. when i was a child i was drinking milk because i didn't like water or juice. so i always ate generous amount of dairy products throughout my life, cheese, cream, milk, yoghurt, you name it... i could try cutting it down just to see.

i did have a check up with my reproductive system, but it's years ago... would it come and go, if that's the problem? i onl get this weird pain once in half a year or less. woo, i hope it's not a problem. maybe i should see a doctor.

Well someone else mentioned the hyperventilation with breath exercises.
To me, it just passes if you get it lol

ahhh, that's right i had heard about that! thank you bees!

Ami, i'll give it a try. i tried a bit following an instruction online. it's pretty exhausting. and i interrupt it with my hyperventilation habit. but i think i have to get used to it a bit.

it was hurting pretty badly last night. today i'm keeping my body upright not to pressure it.

i may be getting my period soon too, but this ain't no PMS pain!! anyway i hope it'll go away quickly and this time i'll try to change my diet more drastically. during the winter and spring my diet was very flour-heavy. it was the cheapest thing i could eat. now i don't have to have immediate financial worries, so i'm starting to get adjusted to healthier diet.

May be hiatal hernia
I get this when I am stressed. It is really the valve-the ilocecal valve that does not close right when you are stressed.
Fear effects the autonomic nervous system .i.e.the things that happen naturally such as breathing.
It makes them not work right.
I have this when I get upset. Kundalini yoga helps it a LOT.
There are even certain postures which do.
However,don't worry about hyperventilating.
You will catch your breath in a minute or two.
I have hyperventilated many times and am still here

thanks Ami!

today, already pain is much less this time! i don't know if it's because of my diet change (of the last 2 days??) or something else, but it's shorter than other times. still, it's evening here and it's starting to hurt a bit more again from the pressure during the day. i slept with a pillow under my back and it helps.

i wonder if it's the stress though... i'm awful at stress management. i don't notice it. but some years back finally my body gave out and i was taken by an ambulance! i suffered from a wretching stomach pain, i REALLY thought i was going to die!! but the doctor found absolutely nothing wrong with my body. can't my body be a bit more subtle with signs!? since then i started paying more attention... i think i'm a bit more relaxed now with the visa renewed. i'll watch out though...

It's always like this, when the pain starts getting less, i have a period of time when i wake up completely exhausted in the morning. really bizarre... the exhaustion is getting less now too, so i think it's almost over now. but it still puzzles me what's triggering it...

Ami, when i try the breathing technique, my mouth and throat get dry really quickly! i'm still trying though, right now only for a few minutes, but as i get used to it, i can probably do it for longer durations.

oh god Ami! airplane, seriously!? i forgot about it, i told ya i didn't know why anyone would be hurt by that!!! and here you are, still talking about it! really i found nothing offensive about it, i even thought it was funny, serious, honest, completely, believe me!!! LOLOL

FYI my jokes sometimes cross over cynical and mean. and i'm like, "it's a joke! have a little *esprit* pleez!" oh yea what's life without humour.

i've just been busy a bit with the jewellery project so i haven't been on here or facebook much. watch what i'll come out with! how's your website also, btw? how's that coming out?

thanks guys, i'm almost completely better now. at least i'm not walking around like an old witch and giving my guy creeps. i still need to control my diet though, i have a belly bloat problem... it seems it's not fat, beside my perpetual sitting life-style, it might be something i eat...
