I was wondering if any older ladies have been taking vitamins since their 20s or if you know any ladies who have that have actually seen a difference from the years of the vitamins?

Ive been into them for a long time now. Im still in my 20s. I get carded for cigs for some reason, but rarely for drinks(make sense in that)...

I just wonder if Im wasting my time with it sometimes.

Unless you eat extremely well, you need supplementation.

As Randall says, unless you eat perfectly, you probably need supplements, especially women.

A good multi is one of the best preventative measures you can take.

Yes, take them every day.
Switch around the brands too from time to time.
I am 57 and have been doing them since a teenager,
except when I could not afford them, and oh yes, noticed a difference when not taking them.....not good.
One of my doctors also advised,
to take them with a meal as some vitamins work better along with food.
Also do not swallow them whole.
Some folks cannot dissolve the coatings or the pills well.
Yeah nasty tasting but chew or at least crunch a bit before swallowing.
Oh also make sure it has your minerals too, not just vitamins.
PS.
It also can be some folks need more of some vitamins than others.
I need extra C.
I developed Scurvy despite all my normal C intake.
Also Magnesium was too low.
Same for B12.
Ask a doctor if you need more, especially if losing weight or if a vegetarian,
or have any health issues such as heavy periods, Diabetes, and so forth.
