Diabetes makes no sense to me. Is there a condition which mimics Diabetes and causes high blood sugar but no other typical Diabetes symptoms? I have been like this most of the time for over 30 years. Oddly before losing 140 pounds it was lower. My blood sugar usually runs from 249 to 450 depending on my body pain/spasm levels in part. Food, no food, it makes little difference; except for pure animal protein which always lowers it; then I can get it to 110 but do nothing but sleep. No one knows why I am not dead yet. If it goes under 240 I feel worse than ever and the rare times under 110 will make me faint or collapse or sleep. At 300 to 350 I am bouncing off the walls with energy. It goes up with strenuous exercise with food or faster without food. I am -O negative.Well I hope my high readings do not kill me off. I cannot afford insulin. And would it do any good anyhow? Other drugs to lower it raised it. So far, like I said, I feel best at 300 and run betwixt 249 and 450. Confounds the doctors to say the least. LOL....maybe I am not human LOL! PS. Oddly my ex2b has the same readings. Doctors call us "bookends" and or "enigmas". ------------------ NumeroLexigrams ~I remember, therefore I am immortal ~Lexxigramer

Thank you for caring Randall It is very maddening to say the least. I post about it periodically just in case anyone has or knows of anyone with same or similar issues. Maybe eventually answers will be found. We do a lot of psi work. Perhaps we are not Diabetic but the levels are indeed normal for us? Tis a mystery indeed. My body has always been goofy. Like they say no spicy food when one has ulcers or heartburn. Well strong hot peppers and ginger help me. And gallbladder attacks; they say avoid fats, but a tablespoon of oil will end the attack for me. Hot drinks cool me off. Cold drinks make me heat up. LOL! Like I said; maybe I am not completely human. ------------------ NumeroLexigrams ~I remember, therefore I am immortal ~Lexxigramer IP: Logged |

Lexx, from what you have posted, your system is a little "shocky."The body can not regulate anything normal when it is "stressed." Not necessarially emotional stress, but general physical/physiological stress to the system. IP: Logged |

My grandmother used to tell us to drink a hot drink in order to cool down, because it shrinks the blood vessels (or something like that). It somehow ends up cooling you down - although it doesn't work that way for me, with soup.IP: Logged |
