Hi!In the Ayurvedic tradition, it is also recommended to abstain from vegetables grown under the ground. Carrots might be an exception, if I remember correctly. They do not contain the same life energy as fruits and vegetables grown above the ground, which are receiving direct sun light. When you pick a vegetable which grows under the ground, you take it from the root, and actually "kill" it that is why it it does not coincide with a fruitarian diet. And Linda's recommendations are based on slowly adapting towards a fruitarian diet, step by step. IP: Logged |

She just said to eliminate them during the 15 years as you move toward fruitarianism. You want to take no life to sustain your own, and fruits are made to be eaten. But they are not unhealthy to eat.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Does anyone else love the earth taste, like dirt? I like brazil nuts for that reason. I do not have pica. I just really love that earth taste & I love root veggies. IP: Logged |

I enjoy brasil nuts as well. They're are kind of addictive and I agree; it is the great earthy taste in them. ------------------ quote: Remember, love can conquer the influences of the planets....It can even eliminate karma.

If you stand next to a large amount of bananas in the produce section, you are getting a fair amount of radioactivity. They are often shipped with a few spiders who hitch a ride. Does that make them radioactive spiders? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." The earth is radioactive, as are most products we are near. We tend to handle radioactivity well.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you."
