Topic: In need of a simple technique to help keep away negative thoughts and energy

Hey all. I hope I worded the topic so it makes sense, lol but it is self explanatory.I desire advice, links, recommendations, mainly anything relatively free of charge or low cost that I can access and that can help me with warding away negative thoughts, feelings and energy. I need a 'cleansing' of some sort, as I've let my negative emotions and actions from the past poison me. I usually cry it out but that is not helping and the folks around me are not taking my tears well. I am familiar with meditation...but as I am an Aries moon and Sag rising it is difficult for me to sit still and focus lol. Tips are welcome. Thank you in advance. maybe a bit of law of attraction. make a vision board of things that you want and that make you happy? magazines and or print out picturesI sometimes add photos of things I like and want to microsoft and put on a song and scroll down and look at all the cool pictures I added to brainwash myself into attracting things into my life. maybe dabble in some feng shui. you don't have to go out and buy a Buddha, you can just print out a picture of one and put it where it needs to go. Yes that's pretty much it! With the vision board all I do is write things on paper I want on one side, and the other side I cut out pictures of things that represent what I want. And put it up somewhere I will see it everyday. IP: Logged |

I have found with my own issues lately, that deep belly breathing, concentrating on letting go of the negativity and breathing in spirit helps...In alot of us, this is inherant, it will never go away, but IF we can catch the negativity before it becomes a monster, we have a start! Where is your sun? Being a Pisces I find myself absorbing all the negativity out there and making it my own, be careful of this, too. Get back to your element, to cleanse. Something alot of folks into astrology and the more holistic routes tend to forget...get back to the element of your sun, to let it all go..... For me it is water... blessins! terri~ IP: Logged |

Sorry Stawr I've only seen a few of your posts and you seem quite cheerful from what I've gleaned. What are the transits? The best thing about them is that they are temporary... Not sure if your self-talk is positive or negative? Here are some common forms of negative self-talk:Filtering. You magnify the negative aspects of a situation and filter out all of the positive ones. For example, say you had a great day at work. You completed your tasks ahead of time and were complimented for doing a speedy and thorough job. But you forgot one minor step. That evening, you focus only on your oversight and forget about the compliments you received. Personalizing. When something bad occurs, you automatically blame yourself. For example, you hear that an evening out with friends is canceled, and you assume that the change in plans is because no one wanted to be around you. Catastrophizing. You automatically anticipate the worst. The drive-through coffee shop gets your order wrong and you automatically think that the rest of your day will be a disaster. Polarizing. You see things only as either good or bad, black or white. There is no middle ground. You feel that you have to be perfect or that you're a total failure. Focusing on positive thinking You can learn to turn negative thinking into positive thinking. The process is simple, but it does take time and practice — you're creating a new habit, after all. Here are some ways to think and behave in a more positive and optimistic way: Identify areas to change. If you want to become more optimistic and engage in more positive thinking, first identify areas of your life that you typically think negatively about, whether it's work, your daily commute or a relationship, for example. You can start small by focusing on one area to approach in a more positive way. Check yourself. Periodically during the day, stop and evaluate what you're thinking. If you find that your thoughts are mainly negative, try to find a way to put a positive spin on them. Be open to humor. Give yourself permission to smile or laugh, especially during difficult times. Seek humor in everyday happenings. When you can laugh at life, you feel less stressed. Follow a healthy lifestyle. Exercise at least three times a week to positively affect mood and reduce stress. Follow a healthy diet to fuel your mind and body. And learn to manage stress. Surround yourself with positive people. Make sure those in your life are positive, supportive people you can depend on to give helpful advice and feedback. Negative people may increase your stress level and make you doubt your ability to manage stress in healthy ways. Practice positive self-talk. Start by following one simple rule: Don't say anything to yourself that you wouldn't say to anyone else. Be gentle and encouraging with yourself. If a negative thought enters your mind, evaluate it rationally and respond with affirmations of what is good about you. Here are some examples of negative self-talk and how you can apply a positive thinking twist to them.

Yeah for the most part my life is good, but something is missing. Some of the friends I use to hang out with. Sometimes I find out that they hang out with out me. It really upsets me, cause I've always had a good time with them and could always be myself with them. It's like they don't even consider me apart of the group anymore. The only one that really does, is my guy. I feel like I can't talk to my guy about this because I think I know why I am not as close with the group anymore. Because the main people I hung out with the group one of the other dudes liked me...and the other 2 where a couple and they where hoping I would get with this guy. I feel like they all secretly resent me for getting with their marines friend(the only one that really considers me apart of the group still) It kind of eats away at me sometimes. and a few other things I wont get into. my transits right now are(all under 5 degrees) Mercury Square Pluto Venus Opposition Neptune Venus Trine Pluto and Moon Saturn Opposition Sun Saturn Trine Mars(this one also talks about being distant from friends) Saturn Square Saturn Uranus Square Uranus Neptune Trine Jupiter Pluto Sextile Venus Pluto Opposition Jupiter Pluto Conjunction Uranus Jupiter conjunct ASC Chrion rx conjunct Venus (for some reason it's painful when it rx over my Venus this happened about a year ago) my Venus is 6 degrees in Pisces...I feel like I already feel the Sun opposing it. I feel you. It is lame to be left out by your friends. I am not sure what to tell you, talking to them directly about it may lead to denial and all sorts of other stuff. It may be time for a little down time, in that case. That Uranus square might bring some new people, possibly. IP: Logged |

yeah maybe once Uranus goes direct things will get better. Gosh when does it go direct!? lolDecember 13th!!! Ahh that's still a whiles away! Okay I will text one or two more...I'm afraid of the results...ever since I hooked up with marines guy...I've just been getting vibes from some of them. I really don't want to admit this, but it really seems true. UGH....!!! It's f*cked up cause I know this one guy that was wanting to get with me, had a crush on another girl too. Can't they just get over it??!! Sun is also in my 11th house...so I see the whole (libra saturn in house 5)passion versus group of friends thing going on. And what am I suppose to say to my guy, your friends don't like me anymore...they obviously wont admit to him. So am I gonna have to say it?!
