Topic: I found this, this morning. What is it??

So, I fell asleep last night and didn't get up until around 2:45ish AM. I got up did a few things and around 7:00 AM I got sleepy. So, I decided to lay down for about 2 hours. (Before I laid down, I took my amethyst out of my pocket and put it inside my pillow case.)
When I awoke (with remnants of dreams on my mind) around 9:15ish, my hubby had prepared breakfast. So, after I ate it I went into the living room for something. Turned on the lamp and this was just sitting there - as if it was there 2 hours prior. IT WAS NOT. I DO have lots of crystals/stones like this one, but I keep them in a small fishbowl. But they're IN the fishbowl. And I turned the lamp off before I went to lay down and that crystal/stone was NOT there. -_- Sooooooo, can somebody tell me what this is? SOMEBODY'S dropping hints...
Also, can someone tell me if this is an authentic amethyst, please. Thanks y'all.  HAPPY HOLIDAYS! LOVE & LIGHT

Could you please re-post with smaller pictures?
Yes it appears to be an amethyst.
Heat, light, humidity, etc. can cause an alteration in color in my experience with them.

Hey Sunshine! I agree but, I don't know what it is.  And I can't use it properly if I don't what it is or what it's used for.  HELP! LOL ------------------
