Healing my past emotional trauma is a big priority for me. It is not going very well. Therapy has me stuck. At this point I'd try anything. Have decided to try these, too, been listening to them, doing meditation, sometimes I even fall asleep during them.

I listened to a piece about procrastination that had subliminal sounds in it and I could tell there was a slight difference. I am too tired now and would probably fall asleep instantly but want to try hypnosis soon.

What do you guys think about this? Ever tried? Did it work for you? Any advice, links, tips?

Thank you in advance!

Thank you, Faith!

I think they definitely have an influence. I've started hypnosis under such sounds. Normally hypnosis doesn't, or didn't work on me, but today I really felt that it worked. I am having some pains in my neck and it really helped me relax. Also want to send messages to my subconscious while in theta to ease emotional healing.

Wow, you reached tantra! I am very happy for you, I think these sounds do work a lot better than meditation on itself.

Hera,
Here are some links that you may find useful. These are of the practice of ho-oponopono in Hawaii.
It is a way to forgive others (hence yourself) and release karmic debts from your Higher Self Level.
www.ho-oponopono.org, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybtW2VrmwJs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3JfvyabyRI, this one combines EFT Release Technique as well

I was sent these links by iQ

I have been reading a lot lately about how emotional trauma in this life can result from unresolved issues in a previous life. If the trauma is severe and very challenging, it holds greater potential for advancement. Of course, all of this is diificult to justify when present life experiences cause such intense pain.

Anyhow, I wanted to share a experience of how knowledge of past life issues can help. I've just had a reading of my Draconic chart, which revealed that my relationship troubles of this lifetime may be the the result of past life time errors - I was too detached and not sensitive enough to loved ones. It struck me that was exactly how my bf was treating me, which was causing me no end of grief. This has had two effects - I am less annoyed with my bf and I want to ask for forgiveness for past deeds. So now will use the Ho'opnoopno mantra/practice towards that end (Links posted earlier). It will be interesting to see the effect.

Best out there imo is from the Monroe Institute
their Hemi-Sync products. I ordered some awhile back and havent listened in months. Going to try to do so on a regular basis again because I noticed improvement the first time I used them.

I did a lot of research on this awhile back and at the end of my search, i found this to be the one to go with.

If you don't order them in CD form you get to order them to a free music player called Pypeline that will bring them to your computer uncorrupted, or uncompressed (don't ask me the technicalities of it) so you can still receive the same effect as you would through a CD.

Get yourself some good headphones and prepare to heal.
