I havent had one of their hamburgers in almost two years, and now that I read this article the idea of eating another one turns my stomach. Its suppose to be in world records as the oldest hamburger...yikes. All those perservatives, the bugs and mold wont touch it lol.IP: Logged |

So by logicMcDonald's hamburgers are immortal They do not perish If you are what you eat Then you should eat immortal food to be immortal If you eat enough preservatives you too will be preserved.
Am I missing something ? IP: Logged |

Seriously, it doesn't turn my stomach, it's just a dried up hamburger with preservatives that bacteria and fungus are not interested in devouring. Like processed food that most people eat all the time. I wouldn't eat it but its not the grossest thing I've seen. If you want to be healthy, shop only at the perimeter of the supermarket, avoid the inner aisles. Avoid fast food. IP: Logged |

The man who initially had the hamburger wanted to save it and show it to his children, basically a lesson on how bad fast food is for them. But he only intended to save it for a couple months to see what would happen, he didn't realize it would stay intact for 14 years after he forgot about it. I am pretty surprised myself that it last so long, to think all the years of eating this stuff. It's just a good reminder to lay off the fast food, especially for kids.IP: Logged |

Whether it looks or tastes good, its still bad for you. Too much of this stuff getting stuck in your colon and your in for an unwanted trip to the doctors. My fast food weakness use to be ice cream from DQ, ate it for three months for lunch and not only gained weight but started getting heart palpitations. Glad I got off it or would probably have gotten very sick. IP: Logged |

I don't know about others, but by my tastes - the food from McDonald's is kinda lousy (i went there only 3 times and the last 2 times - i kinda had to... cause there was no other place to eat around). Even Burger King is not far behind. KFC on the other hand - i guess they do have some good recipes for fried chicken. I had better luck with some random (unknown by name) Fast-Food restaurants - that were managed by their owner and he was quite dedicated in offering a good services for its customers (fresh vegetables, tasty meat and carefully selected sauces). The guy was taking care of his business and the food was good enough - that you'd prefer that place even if you had to stand in line. From the ones with more famous names - Döner King was also appealing. In terms of junk food - I'd prefer a kebab ...or Pizza. ^^ IP: Logged |

So gross...but thats for the reminder librachoice77....reminds me why I obstain. lol And Randall...you wrote: "Good logic, SC. OR...one could also think it would cause individual immortal cells (cancer)" Essentially that's what cancer cells are.... until they consume there host and then they die along with it....there is something to the process of that happening and the awareness of the process on higher levels that I feel we are all here to understand and explore. Your thoughts resonate deep...love your mind. xoIP: Logged |
