Hello all...so i was trying to 'feng shui' my bed direction, and i already know all the directions of my flat.

I wanted the bedhead to be north, as it is the only good direction in my bedroom, and decided to use my friends iphone because of the compass on it.

now all if well, but finally when i came to where my bed is (and i have been feeling so not myself lately with strange headaches) suddenly the compass in the area between North and Northeast, turns around and at one point reads southwest, then i move it a little and it reads west. I still left it alone and it settled on south, then southwest.......which is impossible as that is the direction of North/NE.

There is an electrical plug near my bed, that i try my best not to use, and the air conditioning unit thing is on the same wall to...also when i moved there was a wire running along the floor...but i have no idea what it is for, and never asked. There is a balcony right behind this wall.

So obviously there is some form of interference here that could be the cause of my headache and less than enthusiastic approach to life of late. What can i do about it, i read about these qlink things and etc, but don't think anywhere nearby would sell them? and any DIY solutions to this? this is the only wall by which i can place my bed so need to do something about it, but no idea what!!

Thanks for reading so far, and sorry about the strange grammar and vocabulary.

Hi jellyfishtry! I've never looked into 'feng shui' but I do understand about the low frequency voltage stuff. Could make you go batty trying to configure your room the right way. Keep trying new directions and forget about what's "supposed" to be right. You'll know it when your bed sets there and you get that calm area or spot. WiFi is all over the place... I tried looking for the hot spots in my room by turning an AM Transistor radio between stations, where it's static, then walk around the room. You'll hear changes. (Also cool for lightning storms. You can here the static shushing changes...

Maybe if you can't get the "electric" solved, try using crystals in and around your bed... Some posters here know a lot about crystals. When I needed help from crystals, the black tourmaline, and rose quartz helped.... also small other stones.

Hey, maybe go on a rock hunt and gather ones you like (if you like rocks).

The other thing I would suggest is a pitcher of water near your bed. Water absorbs, and calms...

Well, this is what I did... See what works for you? Like I said, you will drive yourself nuts with trying to position self out of way of frequency waves.

I'd say to make sure not to have your head on the wall where the electric meter is? These can be irritating?....

I hope I understood your question? Were you perhaps looking for "decorating" side of feng shui more than solving 'energy' problems?
