Hi Gabby,--- yikes! You know what I'd do? Contact the A.R.E. and find an Edgar Cayce Study Group in the area. Meditation is part of the group's activity each time it meets... It's possible to have a really good experience there, especially if it's an established group.I had belonged to one many years ago, and I STILL have such love inside for my old group. Was with that particular group throughout my college years, and then beyond.

You can study how to meditate on your own. However, there's nothing like an ongoing group-experience to help 'boost' the energy. It's nice when the group is cohesive and you trust yourself while in the midst of "safe" fellow meditators. There's also the 'accountability' factor, which can help you be more disciplined?
I remember our group traveling together to take the Edgar Cayce Meditation Course. That was wonderful! (It cost some money, but was NOT outrageous.... I have no idea how much it is now.... )
Here's their Audio, Video Events page for today... http://www.edgarcayce.org/are/events.aspx?id=8301
I knew John van Auken when he worked in the press room.... He's an awesome individual, and I miss him!
Good Luck!!
