The past few weeks, I have found myself craving raw food--mostly green veggies of various types and fruit, as well as nuts, seeds, and berries. I still eat meat, but only sparingly. I just don't want it most of the time. This morning, I had watermelon (lots of it), strawberries, and grapefruit. I did eat some tuna salad (craved it a little also). But I tried a little bacon and some greasy taco meat and immediately felt sick. I also couldn't eat dessert. It just didn't taste good to me. Am I an imposter? Did aliens replace me? I've tried low-meat diets before, but it never stuck. It was always a struggle for me. I craved meat. But this was no diet. It just all of a sudden happened.

This happens and then when you go back, the old food is gross to you.

That is awesome, Randall!

Wheat grass is like a good kind of coffee--all good rush and no bad.

I take Oxygen drops, too. I just started a live cell supplement and oxygen drops and boy these are the best thing I ever, ever tried.

I have also heard people say that when you raise your vibration from a spiritual experience, your eating desires change, too.

I think I've eaten a ton of watermelon with and without salt in the past... Salt makes it sweeter!

But somebody would tell me that the 'green' part (past the colors) wasn't good to eat?

My dad salted his beer, too.

I agree with what Ami/Hippi said, Randall - most likely changing vibrations. Any other symptoms?

My husband eats less meat now since we got married, and when he does, it sometimes bothers his stomach. If you're not eating something as often, your stomach may lose the ability over time to digest it, perhaps.

I've been drinking wheatgrass and it really gives me an amazing lift like nothing else. Unfortunately my last "crop" didn't work out, and I have to re-plant.

What I really want is my whole back porch converted into a wheatgrass growing greenhouse. At The Hippocrates Health Institute they serve patients several ounces a few times a day...to get that kind of yield I think you'd need to juice about 2 cookie sheets.

Not really

I've grown it successfully and have also failed. I think I fail when I let the wheat sprout too long before planting and water the grass too much. Then it gets mold on it (looks like cotton...this is a common problem) and I have to throw it out.

There are lots of "How To Grow Wheatgrass" videos on YouTube-- they use different techniques but the basic procedure is, you soak the wheat berries overnight, drain them in the morning. Let them sprout in darkness (rinsing a few times a day...I keep them in a colander covered with a towel on the counter) then after a day or two, you plant them either in soil or on a hydroponic growing tray (one tray with holes rests over another tray with a water reservoir underneath.) Keep the sprouts covered and in darkness until they look like inch-long grass. Then mist the grass with water (or water and kelp, or water and baking soda...advice varies) every day. 'Should be ready in a week or so. Plant a lot because a 6" x 6" square of grass yields only about half a tablespoon of juice, even with my wheatgrass juicer (specifically designed to extract as much as possible.)

Good luck

Well,I left this product info for Charm. This has freeze dried wheat grass in it. It tastes terrible. I used to work in natural health and I have tasted terrible things. This is close to the top but it is awesome stuff. I juice pineapples and put it in and it is OK.

Anyway it is Perfect Food by Garden of Life. The founder, Jordan Rubin, cured himself of almost death stage Crohns disease. It is am amazing story and company.

It get it on Amazon for 40 and free shipping

I love Jordan Rubin, have some of his books, and buy his products occasionally. (And have a little crush on him, don't tell my husband.)

Still, I subscribe to Ann Wigmore's teaching that FRESH wheatgrass has the superlative curing power that people are seeking, when they consume wheatgrass. She is the one who "invented" wheatgrass juice; her grandmother used fresh grass to treat WWI injured soldiers in Germany and when she, Ann, fell ill in her 50's, she remembered that and started experimenting with grass for therapy.

To buy hard winter wheat in bulk is cheap as dirt, and sprouting it is very simple.

You can make Rejuvelac with the sprouts, too. Just add water to the sprouts in a big glass jar (I use about 3 cups water to two cups sprouts, with cheescloth secured with a rubber band over the top.) Let the mixture sit at room temperature for a day or two. The drink gets fizzy and tastes a bit like maple syrup-sweetened lemonade. It's fermented and good for your intestinal flora. And cheaper than the store-bought Kombucha I'm currently weaning myself from
