I'm loving this TED talk, and his wikipedia page shows how much he's accomplished: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brendan_brazier Pisces/Rabbits are way smart And I will get this book out from the library, I'm transitioning to a mostly raw, mostly vegan diet. However, after watching many vegans on YouTube, I have come away with the observation that many of them seem constantly short of breath, which can be a symptom of vitamin B12 deficiency. Brazier isn't rasping the way some of them do, but his breathing seems shallow to me. I wonder if anyone else watching this TED talk is noticing that? IP: Logged |

But to answer your original question...what I'm trying to do right now is merge the dietary approach of these few books: ^ My favorite cookbook of all time. ^ Gourmet raw food. I've been having their raw pizza for dinner most nights lately. Yummmm The green smoothies are becoming the bulk of my daily intake, and I absolutely love them for the taste, convenience, nutrition and innovation. The author of this book, Victoria Boutenko, includes recipes from her followers around the world, with "weeds" being a common ingredient (as it's important to rotate one's greens a lot, to avoid alkaloids from one plant building up in your system...all greens contain alkaloids.) Best wishes, happy eating IP: Logged |
