Detox, detox and more detox....

Find out what you are sensitive to, for me it is carbs, so I consume only small amounts of good carbs, concentrate on fresh leafy greens and deep water fish.

Exercise and I dont mean you have to go to a gym.

I have lost 13 lbs in the past 3 months...the correct way to do it, 7 more to go and I will be at my goal.

I lost he first 7 with the above mentioned strategies and doing loads and loads of yard work...the weight melted off.

Having said all that, dont get caught up in the well published numbers of what weight is healthy.

Our bodies know....

For instance I am heavily "busted." When I get to my goal weight, per pop societies numbers I will still be "overweight." But I give myself 5 lbs for the boobs, so at my goal weight, given my handicap for the girls, I will be in a "healthy" weight range.

Best of luck and many blessings!

Fruits, veggies, no bread, no bagels, nothing like cakes or cookies.

Use only long-grain (not instant) rice as your grain/carb for energy.

Shop at the farmer's market and avoid processed/packaged and frozen foods.

Learn to make your own yogurt, non-dairy ice cream, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, etc. to control your intake of sugar.

Make "bread" and pancakes out of almond flour since that is a nut & not a grain.

Basically: grow and make from scratch as much as possible to avoid the extra additives, calories & fillers.

I am the ONLY woman in my family not over 200 pounds (I used to be) and the only woman without diabetes so what I am doing is working.
