Is there any way to grow eyebrows back naturally? Mine used to be thick, long and dark. For some reason the skin around the eyebrows suddenly became red, itchy and my eyebrows thinned rapidly. The hair loss and inflamed skin have stopped, but the hair still haven't grown back.

Thanks in advance.

Castor oil is wonderful, add an essential oil like lavender so it's nice smelling too. :-)

I'm no sure how to grow them back, but i would start with a good shape and stay there. It's not something that needs to change over time. Like do not pluck beyond the boundary of your iris - ever. There is a shape that works for most eyes, most girls start off doing it wrong and end up coming up with a sort of upside down Nike symbol for eyebrows.

Later on when they get older someone either helps them, or they figure it out on their own, or they live with eyebrows that dont accentuate their eyes until they die.

Your eyebrow arch - the highest point of it, needs to start at the outer edge of your your iris (the colored part) Take a pencil to measure it. If you can't figure it out yourself, get a protessional to do it for you and then keep up with plucking from then on out.

I can't stand to see someone who has started plucking their eyebrows at the wrong place for their eyes. If you are going to do it, do it right. Otherwise you could make your beautiful eyes look too close together or even worse.

There's a ton of info on the net. I started before internet beauty secrets were available. Younger girls are luckier these days as there are many out there that give some basic beauty tutorials for free.

or you could let them grow out naturally. That is usually very beautiful.

If you want a more shapely look, learn how to do it properly. I don't know why yours are red and itch all the sudden, but my suggestion is to know what you are doing first before you go overboard with plucking and shaping. Often hairs won't grow back once plucked, so do it right the first time, if you want to go there at all.

also
you might want to try extra virgin coconut oil for any and all skin problems. it has worked wonders for me. it come solid, but melts quickly in your hands. scoop a dab out wit your finger and it will begin to melt with the warmth. more research online will tell you how much of a miracle cure it is for all things skin and for hair of all ethnicities.

wising you the best.

Newrise: Thank you, I'll try that, hope it'll spark some growth.

T: Thank you T, you're right I probably just have to wait for them to grow and keep applying coconut oil-castor oil. Ah, I'm being impatient again +___+

Yeah, coconut oil is wonderful. I've been using it as a facial moisturizer for a while. I suspect that weather changes were the cause, my skin is quite sensitive.

I know what you mean about tweezing too much and ruining the shape. High arched brows are rather popular so every time I get my hair cut, the hair-dressers want me to let them shape my eyebrows. Mine are straight-ish and they slant slightly upwards. I think they compliment my face shape well so I leave them as they are, save for the occasional trim.

Hi muddy, have you checked with a doctor just to make sure this isn't caused by an underlying problem (could be Thyroid problems or eczema) if so and all is okay, then to stimulate the hair growth, try rosemary essential oil, but don't put it on that area directly (only lavender and tea tree essential oils are safe for that)

take equal amounts of Jojoba oil, and virgin coconut oil, and either put a few drops of Rosemary essential oil with them, and leave in a dark place for the night then use....or make your own extract, instead of the essential oil, get an equal amount of rosemary leaves to the oils you are using (for example 1/2 cup of each of the JO,VCO, and rosemary leaves) put them together and leave them for a week in a tightly closed jar...turning it every now and then....then shake and use.

Hope this helps you to!

Losing eyebrows is a sign of an iron deficiency.
