It had the sender on it, my doc's clinic, so I call...

"hey, whats up?

After much transfering of calls, etc. I speak to some sort of office manager.

She says my doc had issued me a letter stating that, to the jist of it, she requires a greater patient-doctor relationship, etc..

I was like "what?"

So the person on the end of the phone line said, the letter was issued due to my "no shows' "cancellations"....

WAIT now, back up beeeeatch!

I have never had a "no show," I rescheduled this week because my kid happens to come first and she is pending open heart surgery and I just couldn't make it!

Person on the end of the phone line: "well, she (my doc) made room for you and you were a no show..."

(getting madder and madder....)

NO! (stupid!)

Again....please look at my records, (she is clicking away)

No show's.. ZERO

Rescheduling ONE!!!

And stupid office person, she did not make room for me she had a CANCELLATION!

The really STUPID thing?

My doc is "family."

She is my brother's sis in law.

This whole thing started when I called her office requesting to be put back on a heart med (which I loathe) cause I was having terrible arrythmias.

So, I ask the person that I am speaking with "are you a nurse"

(cause I am)

And I tell her my symptoms, and I talk to her in clinical terms and tell her I hooked myself up to an ekg at work the otherday and the med my doc put me on to keep my heart rate down has darn near put me into a heart block (giving her numbers and figures.)

Then all of a sudden "the letter."

My mother said she may not want to "compete" with another clinician (who knows her crap) as well as did my daugher...

I was going to go there, the whole 9 yards, complain, etc....

But instead, I have gone back to my old doc, who is now taking my insurance, will cost me a bit more, but....

So, I am just going to cancel my appt next week and let em wonder.

Afterall....I do not want to comprimise my (always welcomed) access to their summer home in The Colorado Rockies...

Yea, let em wonder...

These are "Business" people... Don't even want you to use your voice or mouth. You shut up and they look at you and 'guess' and order EXPENSIVE dangerous meds or tests or treatments.... Fattening the wallets of friends.

I would like to see it become a LAW that the medical provider MUST DISCLOSE all stock s/he OWNS in the 'other' businesses they "refer" you to.

They want only the meat or animal (flesh) part of who you are.... Would probably prefer you unconscious.... Certainly, NOT speaking.

RIGHT NOW, the computerized Medical Records for individuals of OUR generations are INCORRECT. MANY are filled with "errors" that the offices REFUSE to "fix"....

This is Dangerous to people our ages....

If they want to do "computers" then they will have to give each patient a computer notebook that shows "pictures" and "enactments" of symptoms to press and choose. Hell, nowadays, people don't know medical terms. "Night Terrors".... Those are NOT "bad dreams"...duh!!!

Oh, and gotta make sure that if you write S.O.B. on the paper that the stupid untrained office worker doesn't go run and tell the new doctor that you are "swearing"...

I made an appt with my old doc, who I like much better, but will have to pay a bit more. He was previously not on my new isurance, but accepts it now.

And remember the witch is my brothers sister in law. I want access to my borther's Colorado mansion in the sky when I travel nurse, so I am keeping my mouth shut.

Will tell my brother someday, next time I see him.

Allow the TWO of you to "form" a THIRD healthy reality. It's called creating a separate 'space'... Give EACH OTHER the 'space' to act on your separate individuating lives. Make a new meetings-ground of Friendship. Let the "Mother-Daughter" unit become Mother, and Daughter, ..... and "Friends-For-Life"! You will ALWAYS be Friends and share love in a new way.

Yea, folks often ask me about my older daughter...

"Why dont you ever talk about her?"

Cause she does nothing wrong!

And I am not a braggart.

She, the elsest is in her Senior at UTSA for Civil Engineering, goes to school part time now, that her classes are tough and works full time, like to the tune of 50 hrs a week, she is a fast food chain manager.

She has no intention of staying in San Anto.

She and her gfriend plan on moving to Washington state, where she can get her graduate degree in environmental engineering and they can be married.

She has been on her own since 19 (as I) and is 24.

And I didnt mean we would not be separated physically, heck half the reaon I want to leave is to force the youngin to grow up.

Anyway....

When I imagine some of the things I know about your life, (your lives), like I've said, you are a walking MIRACLE!

Get this, my doc, told my brother she "fired" me.

I have not said anything yet.

1) that is a HUGE HIPPA violation

2) dont be dissin me to my BROTHER!

Cant wait till I see her at some family event.

One of the first travle jobs I want to take is in Denver. My brother has a summer home in Leadville, 2 hours up in the sky more than Denver is.

His inlaw family often go there.

Wouldn't it be fun if I did a job in Denver, leave my cats in my apartment (my sis in law, the doc's sister has a no cat clause) and spend my 4 days off in the masnion.

And the doc go there.

I will have her head burried in the snow, or a rockey crook of the Rockies' ares up waiting for a bear.

Naaaa.....but she will want to place herself so after my tongue lashing.

It's a challenge to work it all out here on paper (er.... I mean screen). The issues would be better resolved in a group-therapy voice + face session...

Sometimes people here form their own tight little bundles of energies, and that's okay because I see it as a part of sociological kind of cell-health. But when groups of cells calcify and harden,-- get bunched up, prudish, hard, and rigid,-- can that sustain good group health? Masks! It's good when different ones inter-change online comforts and friendships. There ARE some good people here.... and I'd hate to lose you. You've been a support to me!

You and I get together and I can sense and realize HOW MUCH you need the outlet. So we started conversing, then taking it a playful step further---it's like, yeah! Bring it on!.... We creatively get all rowdy, and blow some of our frustrations by "spit-balling" at things in society that we'd like to see changed. Sometimes it feels good to just get down and grunge, and be surly, and spew out that list all those wrongs, or 'freakin unbelievable mistakes' (scary mistakes, sad mistakes, caring mistakes) that docs and/or the govt make..... I mean, ya know??? Hey!? But I also see that we resolve to a calmness at the end.

I see your life transitioning for you. Big changes, big turns. Your river is bending as you look to a future that may have a new time for quiet, new healing of old issues. Loosening the tightness and bindings from old job, growed-up young ones, and facing new directions will allow your life-essence circulation to flow with less restriction.... Feeling itchy about life? You're 'feeling'... And I'm sure your daughters will support you moving on to your big adventure. It's going to be different, as well as difficult (oh, you know the difficult is there-- we're all humans).

You say your leaving here, but will come in to check from time to time.... ! Wonderful. Don't leave too long. Or, Don't leave at all!... You don't have to 'decide' definitively. Allow both choices to exist simultaneously.

I realize this even for myself-- If you are 'the decider' you make those kinds of cutting away decisions. But consider you're still a part of these 'pink walls'... We have "energized" the pixels, AND the etheric airwaves.... Yes. We make a difference.... YOU made a difference.

When everyone is a strict square little 'cookie cut out'.... well, that's homogenious.... but it's also 'static'.

You are a Sparkler, and so am I.

I'm sooo deeply sorry about your troubles. You are upfront about what you say, and how you present. I like to be honest too, AND kindness goes far. Balm for the scrapes. Hugs and understanding for the Heart.
