I tried making some honey freezer jam with our organic plums, and realized that: 1. Plums are not a good candidate for jam. 2. The honey I had was from another part of the state and tasted awful, and so did the jam.I was going to try to make some honey sweetened zucchini bread to give as part of Christmas baskets, but I'm afraid I might get the same results. Anyone had success with honey recipes? IP: Logged |

Thanks, Randall. Well...I think I may try my zucchini bread with honey (I have a recipe), and if I don't get any responses I'll let everyone know if it was edible. It's probably best if you start out with honey that tastes good to begin with... IP: Logged |
