I am experiencing hair loss due to hormonal issues. I am taking Biotin, medication to balance my hormone, Vitamins, supplements - everything I need, but nothing is getting me the results I want. I would like to try healing or get the help of a healer at one point. Any suggestions you can give me, even ones that do not involve healing are welcome. Thank you so much!!! <3 <3 Love and light!!

Get some aloe planets and juice the whole thing. My hair is really nice. Awhile back, I was losing hair from stress and that all stopped.

I'm sorry that I don't have any experience or knowledge on this subject to help you with.

I suppose it would depend on what type of hormonal issues you're having?

I'll try to do some research and see if I can find some links. But I like Ami's idea, it seems to have worked for her, and Aloe is always really good for you.

I have the same hair loss problem, although I wouldn't know if it's hormonal.
Honestly, I don't think so.
I've been doing massages, but it doesn't seem very efficient either (or maybe would it be even worse without? I don't know...)

If it doesn't get better quick, I'm thinking of giving acupuncture a try.

I know Sage is good to prevent hair loss, but it does have precautions, raises blood pressure, for one.

But buying shampoo or conditioner with it couldn't hurt.

I could recommend herbs that balance the hormones, but if you are already taking medication for that, I wouldn't venture to say.

My problem has always been too much hair. I can still hear my very conservative Grandmother, "Here, take this money and have your hair thinned" so I'm Hardly the one to ask on this.

Very Best to You, though

Ellyn

Nizoral Shampoo

Studies on Ketoconazole Shampoo and Hair Loss

The results of this study were published in The Journal of Dermatology in 2005. These results showed that 2% ketoconazole clearly stimulated hair regrowth.

I have thought about acupuncture too! If I find out more about this or decide to get this treatment, I will let you know!

@EllynLvx
Thanks for the tip. I have super low blood pressure so it could be a good treatment for me.

@Aries Eagle
I do have thyroid problems, so I'll talk to my doctor about it.
Thanks for the info.

I've starting using this: http://www.amazon.com/Vichy-Dercos-Aminexil-Women-monodoses/dp/B005SI3GNM/ref=pd_sim_bt_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1PYXMM639G8BBJ9176YP

Chemicals from hell, but, hey, it's already getting better.

Go to the doc. Get your ferratin levels checked.
If Estrogen is what you're missing, take plant estrogen. Soy isoflavones.

I notice natural news will post articles for hair growth and preventing hair loss. (another reason for me to be motivated to quit smoking)

"4. Iron Reduces Hair Loss
The mineral iron helps increase circulation in the scalp as well, which then fuels hair growth. Foods that are high in iron include liver, apricots and raisins."
Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/028251_hair_loss_balding.html#ixzz32IPsLvIt

"Foods to Avoid

Avoid dead foods, such as white sugar and processed foods. Cut down on excess caffeine and alcohol, which retards hair growth.
Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/028768_hair_growth_foods.html#ixzz32IQToiVL

and this article shows shows how to make your own shampoo, and what ingredients to avoid.

can't find the article but Natural News also did an article about pumpkin for male hair growth. (why only men though?)
