I was low on coffee and so had green tea a few times a day. I really feel better. I can't say I will give up coffee but if you are a Gemini, you are high strung anyway and don't need much help ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. I feel ya, Ami. Coffee is by far one of my worst vices, seriously.Perhaps it's the Virgo Moon and the Mars and Mercury in 6th, but I'm already prone to being anxious and fidgety as it is. And yet...I drink coffee all day long. I remember once I cut out coffee and sugar almost completely for a month straight, mostly drinking Earl Grey and Green tea without sugar. Wow, I felt so much calmer! But old habits are hard to break and all that... Good luck, I hope you can cut back if that's what you want to do! I know I would like to, but...Neptune. IP: Logged |

Second day, no withdrawal, V, which is strange. I found the most amazing green tea on Amazon. It is true Japanese tea, not a knock off. It is really delicious.------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Woohoo! When I did it, I did have mild headaches, but the tea was really very good to me. It's like a completely different type of caffeine energy. So much more calm, less frazzled. I have the Everyday Detox tea with chicory, and sometimes I make a big jar of that and drink it cold throughout the day, and cut back mildly on the coffee. Good for you for getting to day two! Last time I quit, E, it was hard but this time, nothing. I wonder if the wheat grass did something. ------------------ Want To Ask Any Question About Bible Prophecy? Go For it. It is Free, of course. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I feel yer pain, sister. That's what got me started again as well...I think my husband or my mother made a pot one day, and I was like "Well, maybe I'll just have one cup..." And then Neptune took over. IP: Logged |

That's great to hear Ami!Oh yeah, I quit smoking 6 days ago. It's recommended for quitters to not drink booze or coffee. But I feel like quitting coffee and booze will stress me out even more. I only drink 1-2 cups a day. And I drank coffee WAY before I started smoking. I've been doing fine. I also started taking herbs to calm my nerves. Drinking some passionflower tea. I'm not a tea drinker, I wish I was since its so good for me. My tea smells and tastes like cut grass in a bag. :/ Sometimes I feel like I don't need the herbs. I only have bad withdrawals of smoking if I am around people that start **** with me, or are insanely annoying. Day four, I started my day with out herbs and someone kind of yelled at me. So I left and cried for a good portion of the day. I was fine when I finally took all my herbs, even this bagged grass tasting tea. If I was still a smoker, I would of just left, smoked a cigg, and walk back in with out getting emotional at all. All the other reasons for smoking are easy to get over, but withdrawing from emotional smoking is the hardest part. It can be like your time of the month on steroids, if you don't herb it up.
