Who here uses it?

I just bought some. I'll be using it in a few recipes. (shaving cream, and lip balm)

My pregnant sister wants some too. She has been reading about french parenting and such, and read that the women use it to get rid of stretch marks.

here is a site that explains more of its benefits http://almond-oil.org/

Oh, yes.

I have about fifteen different types of Oil.

I think Tamanu was one for that as well.

I have Sesame, Sunflower, Black Cumin, HempSeed, Wild Rosehip, Castor, Avocado, Olive, so many.

Once I ordered one for every Planet.

Then I have the Solids:

A gallon each of

Cocoa Butter
Shea Butter
Coconut Oil

Think I have one more, but I forget.

It's basically Three parts Oil
Two parts Solid
One part Beeswax

for a Salve.

------------------
Love,

Ellyn

Cool Ellynlvx, you have quite the collection!

Coconut oil and shea butter, and coco butter will be going into my chap stick as well.

I also just bought the coco butter. I got surgery on my arm as a kid, and I was told to put coco butter on the scar after.

It smells Heavenly, especially as it warms...

I think Mountain Rose has the tubes for the chapstick.

Never used almond oil for cosmetics, though I could recommend the botanical nut from the Argan Tree. Pure cold pressed argan nut oil is similar to olive oil.
It's absolutely luscious on your skin, especially face.

cool! I'll be recycling 2 I completely used up. I will clean them out very thoroughly. I sure go though them fast now that I wear lipstick more often, and the winter time here.

ah So argan is a nut. Hear about it a lot. Would be cool to add to my collection someday.

I also looked for kukui nut oil at the store, didn't find any so I bought almond oil.

aw man! once a chap stick container is all used up it wont let me twist it back down. I will definitely order some tubes online someday. But in the meantime, I think I'll use an old concealer container and an Altoids breath mint container.
