Hi All!
I need suggestions please!

Every time something stressful comes up - one of two things happens: Either I feel "high" and get moving on the issue OR I get VERY sick to my stomach.

Can someone recommend a way to squash it?

I believe that our thoughts affect our emotions, tell yourself that all is well.

Hi there, LuvinU

Do you have any Cancer/4th House planets in your chart?

I can't remember who brought it up exactly, but the poster brought up Cancer tending to deal with stress internally. Meaning when their stressed it goes to their stomachs. Of course this may not be true for many but I definitely can attest to it. I have a heavily aspected Cancer Mars.

Whenever I'm stressed I get horrible stomachs aches and pains. I have a pretty bad stomach, many gastrointestinal issues going on and stress does me no good.

What Valentine said I agree with completely, however I have a few tips that I do while under stress. I count from 1-10, 10-1 while taking deep breaths and slowly exhaling. You'd be surprised how much breathing changes things. (Breathing is huge for those who work in the health field.) I drink a warm drink, of any kind, I prefer teas. Thinking positively and reassuring yourself that whatver is stressing you will work out also helps me tremendously. Warm baths help. Music is also another huge one for me.

Hope that helped even a little. It's okay to vent so many do. Hope you have nice day or night.

I get the same way. It is a long healing process. I have an article in Astro 2 that you may relate to.

One day at a time, right?

Barbiegirl19: Thanks!
As for cancer - it's actually on the cusp of my 12th house and I have Jupiter retrograde in my 11th house, in cancer, at 1 degree 36. It opposes my sadge sun. As for the 4th house - scorpio is on the cusp and I have Pallas conjunct IC (scorpio), Ceres conjunct Antares (sagittarius), and Venus conjunct Neptune (sagittarius). My moon is in Aries (conjunct Eris and oppose Pluto/NN) at the tail end of the 8th house.

I definitely get sick to my stomach when I'm stressed. Yes - your suggestions help - will try the warm drink the next time I start stressing like that. I call it the bubble guts - it's like everything turns to mush.

Ami Anne - I will definitely check out Astro 2. *edit* Actually, can you post the link to it here? You have tons of info in Lindaland. :-) I'm thinking maybe my Retrograde Mars in the 12th may have something to do with this all too.

Thanks again Valentine! You've all given me something to consider/try out.

Hi. These are two extreme responses. Changing your thoughts will help. It seems like Virgo may be at play here for resolution to the problem. Quick high to jump in and fix things right away, to be in control (opposite Cancer). Or excessive worry, overanalyzing or improper digestion of information, causing stomach upset, which can as a result can make you feel insecure (Cancer).

Here's an example how to change your thoughts in order to handle the stress. First identify what is stressing you out, the actual cause of the stress. Then, ask yourself if it is important to you or is it important for someone else.
If it is important to someone else, then simply release it as it is not your responsibility. or ask yourself what it is about the other person that makes you respond for them.

If the stress is your own you can ask yourself if it is really worth worrying about. What is the result you want to happen. A lot of times it is because you can't control a situation. Ask yourself what is the worst that can happen, and you may be able to live with that and release the worry.
