I'm not sure that it's scoliosis, no chiro or doctor has said that word to me. But I do have a curve. One hip higher, one shoulder higher, and possibly (likely) posterior pelvic tilt. I've been doing yoga (a mild, muscle relaxing kind for now) and it's been helping the pain a lot! I have poor posture also and I know that's a problem do I'm working on that as I know it's related. Any other suggestions? (To add to yoga) Or just stick with the yoga? Oh, I do use a foam roller as well. IP: Logged |

It sounds like minor scoliosis. We call it a chicken wing. The pain is probably caused during sleep. Get a pad to put on the bed to support your lower back while you sleep. IP: Logged |

It may take a couple of weeks for the nerves in your back to calm down.IP: Logged |

With astrology you could look at the relationship of Saturn to your Libra planets if you have any and ask for help in the astrology forum. It would show the miasmic patterning. Sorry I can't give you a physical remedy suggestion. Hope whatever you try will helpIP: Logged |

Definitely, if you can afford one, go see a professional body-worker (deep massage, gentle osteopathic manipulation) who has had experience with some scoliosis. Could consider going to see someone who does Alexander Technique therapy. Extra foam in bedding could make things more comfortable. Try also those small little travel-pillows to stuff or adjust and support areas around your body before falling asleep. {Hi PlutoSurvivor... I thought LEO had rulership over the back and spine? } Here's another discussion I found "Scoliosis (curved spine)" http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum3/HTML/001937.html IP: Logged |

I haven't been in here for a while. Thank you for all of the help! It's better. Still a lot of work to do! I've been relaxing for now but will pick yoga back up soon. It does help. I also found a chiropractor that is one of just a few chiropractors in the nation to hold advanced degrees and achieve certification in three separate specialties through postgraduate education (Board Certified Diplomate - Neurology, Board Certfied Diplomate - Orthopedics, Board Certified Diplomate - Acupuncture, as well as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician). With the two I hope to get pain free and then maintain. At least it doesn't drop me to my knees anymore. IP: Logged |

yo yo yo yo yo yo.You gotta get into foam rolling, using lacrosse balls, and using yoga tune up balls to fix this stuff. If you don't it really won't improve very much. Take it from me, I was a pro jiu jitsu fighter, and did a ton of MMA. My body is jacked, and I've basically recovered it all but a few neck issues. But those will hopefully go away in a few years. I've been choked thousands of times, and would have never believed it was possible. Ask if you need more details IP: Logged |

Sorry. I don't swing by here much. Regular chiropractor visits seem to be helping. Strengthening my core I'd helping too. Once it's a bit stronger I'll start other stuff. I've always wanted to learn judo myself. never did though. IP: Logged |

Oh, I do have foam roller. I also bought an EPM unit. (Electronic Pulse Massager). It's AWESOME! Progress is definitely being made. I'm just attacking it from several angles. IP: Logged |

Look into a.r.t, deep tissue massage, yoga tune up balls, kundalini, iyengar, float tanks, and cryotherapy

I've used yoga tune up balls, foam roller, crytherapy, and working on strengthening core muscles. All have helped! IP: Logged |
