I'm not usually able to remember everything I eat in one day, but today I was mostly inside and noticed every little thing.. And this is what happened:oatmeal with: almond milk, chia seeds, maca powder, cinnamon, raisins, cut up apple black coffee with chicory a kiwi greek yogurt with cinnamon, chia seeds and raisins more coffee a handful of dried seaweed and a swig of apple cider vinegar (lol) some cacao nibs a piece of bread with peanut butter and cinnamon more coffee a baked potato with olive oil, cayenne, salt and pepper stir fry chinese eggplant with carrots, broccoli, ginger, shallots, chili peppers, soy sauce and sesame oil over spinach. ginger tea with mugwort and lemon juice This is pretty typical of me, except I usually eat more fruit (making my oatmeal even more epic), and I go through phases of eating eggs every day.
I find food and diet fascinating, (Maybe because of Virgo Mars and Neptune / Uranus in the 6th) and I always try to see how food affects the way I feel. (I am diagnosed bipolar) For example, I’ve noticed that maca root has seemingly spun me into a hypomanic cycle for the past few weeks; I can’t eat sugar or it makes me hate everything, stuff like that. What’s your food life like?? Are you a weirdo who takes swigs out of the ACV like me?

It seems to me that you are eating a healthy diet.As a vegetarian, I also try to eat healthy. Sugar is a poison, we don't need it. IP: Logged |

Thanks I do try hard to get sufficient nutrition. It's easy because I love food.I was a vegetarian from ages 7-17, but I was so unhealthy for most of high school. Mostly because we never had any food around. I don't know why but my mom, who I lived with, absolutely hated to go grocery shopping, and so she just wouldn't, even when I'd tell her we really needed food. And in a day, her diet would be something like this: an entire pot of black coffee an entire box of crackers cheese wine She was also very unstable. I think there's a huge correlation. It's weird because growing up, up until I was about 10, she was a raw vegan. To the extreme. She used to go away to this health sanctuary called Hippocrates, for weeks, and I would come visit her during weekends. It was pretty cool. She also made me drink wheatgrass juice and these intense green juices she made every day, which I hated. She was still unstable, but much happier and with a different kind of energy. Anyway, I stopped being a vegetarian simply because I had never had a burger or a steak, or chicken curry, stuff like that. But after trying all of those, I don't see what the fuss is about with eating meat. I think vegetables have more flavor..

We lose the ability to taste the nuances of flavor with veggies if we eat a lot of meat. Thankfully, it returns. IP: Logged |

Lolz, that sounds good! Can't hurt every once in a while, right? Yesterday I didn't eat that much, went to a fun show completely sober and alone, and visited a friend after. On my way to his place, I stopped to get fries and the man at the counter gave me 6 free donuts! (Only ate half of one though because that's pretty much all I can handle for a donut)Then I had like 2 beers, and talked until 6am on a roof. By that point I was feeling pretty delusional so I got a piece of pizza on my way back to my place as the sky was lightening up. It was the best night I've had in a while, and I felt really good in the morning. Sometimes I feel the best when I treat my body the worst. But, usually not IP: Logged |

Awe, it's okay. I'm sure things balanced themselves out somehow along the way. (Like getting free donuts) IP: Logged |
