Not sure this is right forum or even right website but whatever Anyone experienced, or heard of, that a woman can have false negatives (too low hcg) despite being several months pregnant?? IP: Logged |

Happened to ME, Charlie! ~~ The doctor ran through one box, then got another box. Then tried a different LOT number, then said dammit, I KNOW you're pregnant! Could actually feel it.Nothing like good old-fashioned common horse-sense?! How many women have "surprise" babies coming out of them when they've used the toilet! Screw the tests--- use your hands and eyes! Would an insurance company NOT cover a person because the stupid chemical test was incorrect, as opposed to a trained medical person? ~sheesh!! Let's USE common-sense!! You think your pregnant?... ADD: I was talking about the urine test... but they DO have blood-tests that detect it right away? IP: Logged |

Well, I FEEL pregnant! I've probably gone through every single pregnancy sign; normal or odd, in the last month but I don't want to get my hopes up because I had a miscarriage when I was 20 and doctors couldn't see anything despite taking several urine samples and blood tests and then just one day: miscarriage.

Hard on the emotions and feelings while in the infuriating yet exhilarating time inbetween waiting for it to show up on a test... Good not to get hopes too high as you said about the prior miscarriage. Usually it's good to wait until after 3 months. With my second, I spotted to the 5th month. You seem in good spirits about it? Sorry you experienced miscarriage. I miscarried inbetween my two. Though it was sad, Nature knows what she's doing. (Barring thyroid problems, which can be the reason for miscarriages sometimes.) Good night... IP: Logged |
