Well, if nothing adds up then something is at odds :-)I had a quick look - you've raised my interest - and agree with you there is a lot of hype being generated for something that has no decent reliable write up about it to be found.
1. hard to find the actual manufacturers - which makes me think every Jim and Barry may be making them in their backyard.
2. materials - some claim its a crystal, some claim its a metal alloy, some claim its a stone...
3. benefits - the health claims are as wide as the ocean...DNA repair, lower blood pressure, more energy, better sex, no headaches and so on
4. side effects - are very unclear, "just stop wearing it if you feel sick or dizzy"...ugh
5. marketing - in Nigeria its marketed as virgin pendant, others market it as aura cleansing, others as healing crystal ..its all over the place
6. how it works - and this is my biggest worry - by emitting infrared radiation, by emitting negative ions, its a magnetic device etc etc... How exactly?
For all we know this pendant could be harmless and just a scam to get some hard cash. But on the other hand, it could possibly be something more sinister.
I've stumbled onto some info recently about people being chipped without their knowledge in US and in Germany. Its possible it is happening in other places around the world as well. The prognosis from findings are 30% population. The chips emit a frequency. They had been found in dental work like fillings and crowns, in upper arms (vaccine anyone?), behind the neck, and hip area...various chips have been used, and people who had them had a history of either being abused sexually, or experienced violence against them. Which is how the study came about, to find a common denominator, and the chips were discovered by accident.
Why I am telling this story?
Because there are many things happening around us that we may not know about. Hence I would be very very skeptical about using anything which interferes with my auric field, integrity of my body, or seeking to alter something in me/body no matter what they claim to do. Just precaution.
You can work on your aura without any physical intervention. There may be some natural earth crystals that are beneficial, I'm no expert however so I cant recommend any. I wear a black tourmaline bracelet on the right hand to deflect negative energies, that's as far as my crystal knowledge goes.
If you want to reduce the emissions from mobile phones or electromagnetic pollution you can use 'ADR Protect'. I have it glued on the back of my mobile phone and there is positively less heat emission, also my hands dont tingle/vibrate as much now when I hold the phone.
What did you want this Tiens pendant for ?

I totally understand and agree with what you wrote. I'm very skeptical about wearing this pednant but I am also innately curious about it since I'm very much into mysticism and things that are regarded as unconventional in modern society.
I've worn it quite a couple of times and it does seem to have some kind of temporary effects while worn. These effects tend me to make me feel uncomfortable though so I've decided against wearing it. A part from making me feel uncomfortable I just think I have enough common sense not to experiment with anything I don't have any sound information on and concede that nature usually provides what man cannot.
I never went out to purchase it with intention. It was passed down to me from a family member and a part from having some strange effects I just really liked the necklace itself.
