It feels like either a kidney or gallbladder issue. I can't actually push a muscle and feel the pain but if I bend over or arche my back, I feel it quite strongly.Anyone else encountered this? It basically happens when I'm not watching what I eat, too little water, caffeinated drinks, fatty foods and oils, etc. I don't get the full kidney stone/ gallstone issue though. IP: Logged |

When I was 19, I had lower back pain so bad that I literally crawled for 2 weeks - from my bed to the toilet, and that was about it. It usually takes my head to be hanging off my neck before I will take sick leave from work, but this utterly floored me.Toward the end of the 2 weeks, while spending all that time in bed, I was reading a lot, and therefore, thinking a lot. I actually discovered many things about myself that I needed to know, that I had been avoiding facing. Once acknowledged, it was gone, practically overnight. My theory is that back pain can be a result of repressed emotions. I have never had that since, and that was 15 years ago. And I have kept up my self-analysis since then. IP: Logged |

I feel it more on my right side, but it's there on my left sometimes too. It comes and goes but it might be because of bloating issues based on what I eat and the gas compressing my internal organs. Not sure about repressed emotions but will self-analyze that aspect as well, never thought of that and might be interesting. IP: Logged |

Yes, Randall is right, often that can be the case and one's loss of personal power, as in the chakra balance, can show in that region. Eastern medicine helps see corresponding mind> body connections.might be worth looking into. Hope your back feels better soon. IP: Logged |

Back pain has been known to disappear on its own, so there might be some truth to an emotional rather than physical cause.IP: Logged |

Lower back pain - metaphysical cause (beyond physical) is feeling lack of financial support. examine how you feel about your financial burdens, and how possibly you feel how you are lacking the support you need right now and your back pain has a better chance of healing, naturally. Please don't discount 'beyond physical' reasons for physical issues. They have been known to help, and perhaps you and/or many others can be helped just by changing your thoughts about what you my be feeling. It's very simple, really. That aside, I hope you find the solution and comfort you deserve. Sending healing thoughts to you now. IP: Logged |

Interesting as well. I'll take that into consideration as I've been living paycheck to paycheck. Not as bad as it sounds as I live with my parents so there's some support. I'm been watching what I eat and from what I can tell if I eat anything that's got a good dose of oil around it, my kidney yells bloody murder. Had french fries one day and it hit me an hour later but I can drink ice tea without any issues so think it's the oil and not sugar per se, though I've cut back on sugar a lot too. IP: Logged |

Could be your gall bladder, not your kidney. If you think I'm correct, I have a cure.IP: Logged |

The back is much better thanks, I haven't had an issue in about a month. I did have a salad with a vinaigrette type dressing and it basically ran through my system because my body didn't like it. If it is the gallbladder what types of things would you suggest? IP: Logged |

The pain in lower back is probably adrenals. This is common if you drink a lot of coffee or caffeinated drinks..and dont get enough sleep, too stressed and don't exercise enough. Ease up on caffeine, start drinking more water. I had this problem, so what I do is per every cup of coffee, I drink a full glass of spring water, to help adrenals cope. OK, but 5 coffees a day TOPS.
A problem with fried foods or inability to process fats would show up in liver, esp if you are restricting your fat intake, like being on a no fat diet.. Remedy would be enzymes supplement. Hope it helps. IP: Logged |
