Just like the damn bible and other cultures where people are accused of being evil and totally deserve all their illnesses.
Societies have ostracized sick folks for thousands of years due to this evil concept of blaming folks for all their health issues.
By their kind of reasoning I and others are the most disgusting deserving of bad things to befall us and should just freaking die and not get in the way of or come near those lucky healthy folks! These kinds of thought are cruel and uncaring and heartless and just plain nasty and untrue.
My lists of some of my afflictions are here in this forum.
Go ahead and think of me as a disgusting loser who deserves it all and got it all from incorrect thought and other freaking nonsense bullshite reasons they claim!
And please do not bother to say it does not apply to me; because anyone who actually buys into the line of oppressive unkind crock is accusing and blaming me for my physical woes.
I did not ask for them nor cause them and that goes for the birth defects I was born with. People I have loved did not cause their horrible illnesses that killed them often slowly.
People who believe this evil shite have no compassion or real love for others. That is my opinion and tough if anyone does not like it!
It is very depressing and makes me almost sad enough to end my life because people I thought cared buy that crap. It is bad enough being ill with many things but being blamed for them; being told I deserve them; makes me wonder why I even bother being social when folks actually see sick folks as losers. Wow. I cannot believe these ideas promoted are seen as spiritual wisdom when they are evil concepts to label ill and deformed folks. Not spiritually evolved at all people. This is so damn depressing. On that note; anyone who does believe I and others deserve and ask for it all; well if there is any justice in the universe may they get back exactly what they believe others caused or deserved! Maybe then they would not be cruel to folks who did not ask for their health troubles. People who buy into this bullshite do not deserve good health or happiness!
Randall delete my post if you want but I have about had it with new age fraking bigotry and bias towards folks with health problems.

As to Karmic reasons for things;
My theory is that yes, there may be Karmic reasons for some things;
but I feel it is more likely to be because of assaults, murders, wars and whatever
and not reasons for disease and other health issues.
Take for example; Adolph Hitler.
What if the Abrahamic religion stories;
with Moses and such;
what if these early Jews
who actually murdered and raped and enslaved people; including infants; and were proud of it and and bragged about it and even put it in so called holy writings;
and claimed to be doing so by order of their god;
what if the people they committed genocide upon and other atrocities upon;
were Hitler's ancestors and or even places Hitler had lived in during some of his incarnations.
Karmic payback makes sense under such circumstances.
See the many atrocities these early Jews committed and consider that if reincarnation is true and he and his tribes were murdered repeatedly by these early Jews by the tens of thousands; maybe even millions;
then Hitler may have had Karmic reasons for his wanting to exterminate the people who literally in the past did sweeping widespread genocide to the peoples of ancient lands to the West of them,
So yeah; Karmic reasons for genocides and wars and rapes and murders and all; yeah that I can say is possible.
But not the reason or cause of humanity's health issues.
For those who are not aware of the horrors the early Jews perpetuated upon the peoples of what we later called Europe and so forth;

So throw some too...? I get it though..

I personally always ask myself questions. I will write here one recent example.

I had a very sudden sciatica pain 2 years ago. I couldnt bend, sit down easily, sleep, climb stairs, walk fast, etc. Pills for the pain helped me for a while but it didnt cure my problem. Got X rays and went to a doctor to check it out. It wasnt the end of the world in the radiography but I went straight to kinetotheraphy and started doing work for my back. It hurt and i couldnt do much. 2-3 weeks after theraphy the pain slowly started to fade away and i got better.

This summer, i got sciatica pain again. Even though I continued the exercises i learned at kineto! I couldnt bend, i literally had to let myself fall on surfaces so i could sit. And that hurt so much. Laying down/sleeping/walking was hell also.
So i started to ask myself questions and analyze.

I thought of the last time it happened to me and searched for any similarities between my life then and now. 2 years ago right when i got my sciatica pain i had some fears about losing a guy. I was scared that i will be left alone and abandoned. I have abandonment issues/fears because my father did that to me when i was very young and i was left alone with a mother that worked a lot. I didnt see her much and i always got panic attacks thinking that she left me too and she will never come back like dad. Fact is, i dont constantly live with this fear but it shows up when someone important to me wants to leave/leaves. It feels horrible.

This summer, i experienced the same feelings. So i found an answer. I was sooo happy but so sad that I am doing this to myself. When i realized it all,, i relaxed and tried to resolve my conflict/fear. I stopped letting fear overwhelm me and i stopped constantly thinking about being left abandoned and I NO LONGER HAVE SCIATICA PAIN!!!!! Hooray

I DO understand how these kinds of sayings can make someone intensely angry. Been there!

The way I 'listen'... I don't take it literally... I loosely, in a meditative and curious way "consider" what I'm hearing, to see if there's any kind of *ping* inside.

Sometimes, considering these kinds of things, actually releases some pressures...

But yours are so strong Lexx...
I wish 'just hearing' could make you better.

If you ever are allowed to go to acupuncture (I know that sometimes Medicare used to pay for those), IF you listen to this (and skip the Louise Hayes refs), you could get some ideas to mention to them.
