Been suffering chronic pain after using a chiropractic cushion, probably not meant for me. This area that has been troubled is not where my old injuries are. (2 from my younger days). My years of scavenging through medical journals and such, I knew one day the Yin/Yang food lists would be important, as I'm not too good at following any rigid plan. The lower back is not fun to have angry at you! I remembered one time several years ago reading that Prana would facilitate the energy rhythm with the breathing techniques. So with no coach, self direction only, I began to do breath work. It helped with a couple yoga stretches. The trouble was/is this back issue returns every day! So my diet is the answer. I guess this is why I had that strange craving for horseradish . lol I'm sharing my story because we are, during pandemic times, trapped indoors more. With less choices of foods and possibly limited movement in fitness. Strangely enough I was becoming 'more' fit again just before this back issue. Please read these links if you aren't already acquainted with Qi or Yin/Yang energy ~ if of course you are interested! ~ There are many areas, in which discomforts arise, Yin and Yang nutrition practice, can remedy ~ Chinese Medicine http://www.chinesemedicinedoc.com/boulder-acupuncture/diet-chinese-medicine/ Foods and the effects of Ying/Yang foods on you http://www.slideshare.net/mobile/thechinesekitchen/yin-and-yang-food-how-does-it-af fect-you http://www.lotusrootacupuncture.com/nutritition.html For a Yang http://www.kenova.org/horseradish.html

It's true that diet plays a key role in health and maintaining energy throughout the day. We must learn to recognize the signs of lack or excess Yin or Yang energy in our body and restore balance. Here's an interesting article about maintaining yin yang balance. http://the-yin-yang-shop.com/blogs/yin-yang-blog/how-to-balance-yin-yang-energies IP: Logged |
