you missed the key word - Catholic... the charity part is irrelevant
good thing we have separation of church and state

today's google doodle was adorable at the end they put clips of cartoon couples, my favorite couple where the milk carton and the cookie jumping together one of the couples where two men holding hands..

it is not religion that is at fault its those who preach their own takes of it,i think we're getting there we just need some time

This frustrates me.

Honestly, what's best for a child is a stable, loving, financially secure (not necessarily wealthy--secure, as in having enough food to eat and a place to live and all of that), happy and healthy home. Not only is it best for the child, but best for society: people who grow up in bad homes are statistically more likely to go on and create them, as well as become criminals, often violent ones. A happy and healthy home not only benefits the immediate family, but it is more likely to send out into society a person with a good sound head on his/her shoulders.

Denying a person the right to that home just because those parents happen to be of the same sex is ridiculous.
