I think I'm more a mole. It's even fun sometimes, like dressing up for Ren Faire. Other times it's because I'm after certain results like good biz or even safety by pretending (or at least insinuating) that I'm like those I interact with. Other times I forget myself and my questions and observations have created scandal and gotten me into trouble at times. My fashions (that I've created myself) often inspire comment. And while I sometimes wear a Che beret it's not for the usual reason: I wear it because I enjoy the irony that it was created by capitalism that Che opposed (and because my BFF got it for me). But I almost never correct anyone who thinks I wear it to honor Che. As for goths being goats or sheep I'd say that depends on the goth. As a general rule I think many goths can show unusual tolerance and acceptance for wildly different views and attitudes in their subculture that is unusual in most other cliques (though OTOH I've seen some vicious arguments like about Marilyn Manson that confound me with their intensity). But the "baby bats" are sheep. A goth I knew even claimed I was a goth (despite my objection) simply because I like bands like CXS (especially their older stuff), Bella Morte, Switchblade Symphony, Voltaire, Big Electric Cat, and Within Temptation as well as movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sleepy Hollow, though I disagreed because I love many genres. I get along with plenty of goths but I also get along with many rednecks, idealists, stoners, dead heads, skeptics, mystics, and various types of geeks. Some of them mistake me as one of them, too. Pixie you and i have alot of things in common, i dont like when people label me either and i can blend with all kinds of people mostly because im curious about it all and usualy keep my judgmental thoughts to myself..the che thing realy made me laugh.. you have no idea how many Che shirts i see prancing around the streets and i bet not half of them even kno who Che was! everything that at one point mattered to the world ends up a fashion fad!!!! do you have some placements in Libra?
@sand how cute is it that you just quoted the Devil Wears Prada!!!! are you a fashion designer by any chance? you bring them up quite often..

LOL i can only draw stick figures unfortunately. i dated someone for a long time who wrote for a fashion mag and before her a model so pretty huge chunk of my life around those types. i honestly don't understand much of it LOL especially the really out there stuff for women but for a guy MAYBE i haz passable knowledge.  i know a bit more about suits than actual designers but that's only coz i hafta wear them a lot i guess.
