It's always been my understanding that Pisces is about dissolving the boundaries around gender constraint and the ability to love the soul instead of the body (gender) of an individual, but people always associate anything that involves political reform and equality movements with Aquarius.IP: Logged |

Probably both but in different ways.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I'd say Aquarius. Only because Aquarius is about freedom of thought, releasing yourself from limiting mental patterns and conventional thinking. Gender is a concept, Aquarius deals with theories and concepts, Pisces is spirituality. Just look at the Age of Pisces and consider how much the division of genders, specifically the oppression of women had an impact in our civilization. Many religions which relate to Pisces, had their foundations through dividing genders and degrading and persecuting women. In the Bible, Eve, the female was the gender that ate the forbidden fruit. Not Adam, and in general all over that biblical text their are examples of misogyny. In college I had to intensively study that text for one of my religious critical reason classes. So I'd give gender liberation to Aquarius. The sign of knowledge and freedom of thought. If we are in fact moving into the Age of Aquarius then religions as well as limiting gender concepts should dissolve. That is the assumption. Sidenote: Pisces is about dissolving boundaries spiritually, not conceptually. Pisces is spiritual, Aquarius is conceptual. Remember in order to reach the spirituality of Pisces we have to release the conceptual limitations of conventional thinking and embrace the freedom of thought and action associated with Aquarius, the waterbearer. Hi NativelyJoan,Thank you so much for your interpretation. It certainly adds clarity... for me in particular, I've always wondered why astrologers say that Venus/Uranus hard aspects (especially in the fifth house) can indicate same-sex attraction. Now I don't lol. IP: Logged |
