discrimination goes both ways and both women and men get the shaft in some ways, but what bothers me is society doesn't even look at men's issues really. for example: you hear a lot about how women/gjrls have a hard time and are prone towards depression, but yet men/ boys are a lot more likely to commit suicide and its not even brought up. also most homeless charities focus on the women even though men account for the majority of the homeless. and possibly the biggest one is on average if a man and a woman commit the same crime, the man will get 40% percent more time in prison.IP: Logged |
