I liked the movie, but it was a bomb, so they are rebooting it with a new actor.------------------

(there have been many incarnations of the Lantern, given that his powers essentially come from passing the ring to his successor) It is an interesting idea. I know that a new generation X-Man Northstar is getting married (as also referenced in the article) to his male partner. Glad the comic world is finally cathing up with what Chasing Amy was hinting at 15 years ago.  IP: Logged |

And I liked the movie too, for what it's worth. The supervillian was LAME, but I liked Ryan as Hal and Blake Lively was good too. IP: Logged |

I was really hoping for the X-Men Origins Deadpool movie. That story may be too dark for a lot of audiences, but Ryan Reynolds was THE perfect choice for the role. Not sure if they are still talking about making that film, but I would be the first geek in line to see it. Deadpool is a personal favorite. IP: Logged |

I would say if you could imagine what Mars conjunct Sun in Scorpio in the 8th house would be personified, that would be Deadpool. He was another Weapon X creation, had some run-ins with death, literally, he is a non-living humanoid at this point, bent on twisted revenge. He has enhanced strength and speed, was a very hightly paid mercenary with dead on accuracy and power. His making were dark. DARK. His attempts at relationships have been quite interesting... On IMDB they have the Deadpool movie listed, but no cast besides Ryan. They do have a screenwriter and director. I have heard they intend to do more Origins stories, but I'm not sure which ones are "in the works". IP: Logged |
