GPA convinced to come to the Chrismas event at his senior center and he lured me in with a computer lab...
Stalked a few Amish at a Walmart and they are as beautiful as ever...no weirdness seen here. Going to gpa's hometown Saturday to stay in the B&B where Amish are everywhere..will continue my research! Blessins and love, ya'all! t~ IP: Logged |

On the Droid so this will be brief...these very conservitive folks look at me llike "whaaaaat" I don a leather jacket a colorful scarf, no makeup, hair up, glasses on (my mom says I look like Sarah Palin), either jeans or leggins....... I'm not that fancy! But today I smiled at a lovely young Amish woman at Walmart.....her brillant blue eyes shined as she genuinely smiled back at me! Sooooo heartwarming! IP: Logged |

Gotta add real quick, was on the way home from errand running when my gpa mentioned an Amishman had purchased 10 acres, of swampland, beside the lake, for 65K! He said he hunts there and earlier I noticed a deer blind. I ask gpa if the Amishman drove his buggy to hunt (with all kinds of images of scared Saddlebread horses attached to buggies" he replied "no, he is a jerked-over Amishman....."
