I have the kit but I feel intimidated to make it. I buy it every week at the health food store and I am tired of being dependent on them. They don't have it a lot and it would be nice not to need them lolI make home made vinegar and I have confidence in this. You know my struggles, how I was so afraid lol Now, I LOVE it. It is so amazingly delicious that salads are all gourmet. However, I have to force myself to try to make Kombucha. I hate change ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Just think of it as a new adventure. The fun is in the process. The end result will get better each time with experience. IP: Logged |

I got a kit from Amazon. Does the scobie go bad if you leave it in the fridge too long? ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? No, Ami, i have not brewed it, just had store bought drink. I can just imagine it as an adventure, though, even with using a pre-grown SCOBY from a kit and not growing your own. I think if the kit directions are clear all should go well. I'm cheering you on - go for it! IP: Logged |

I tasted it. It has been 6 days, I think, and you can bottle it at 7. It is one of the most delicious things I have tasted in my whole life. I can't believe I made it because it, always, felt too hard. It is very easy. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I started a new batch with the mother. It was a great mother lol
BUT I got another Scobie and screwed up cuz the tea and Scobie were a different temp and it sunk to the bottom but I read it may be OK. The best Scobie was from an Amazon kit that was somewhat expensive but the Scobie was a Ferrrai
