Hi there, and welcome to Interpersonal Astrology, one of the newest forums to grace LindaLand. Your most gracious hostesses, myself and Ceridwen, are here should you need us, along with the wonderful astrologers of all size and shape who should happen by.
So, pull up a chair and a nice cup of tea or java, depending upon your preference, and let's get started.
As defined by the Oxford English Dictionaries, interpersonal is of or relating to relationships or communication between people.
That's how we're approaching it, too.
Pretty much any and all types, methods or branches of astrology that relate to, well, relationships.
Chief among them are synastry and composite charts of course; the means by which we compare two natal charts (synastry) or combine them (composite).
What can that tell us? Everything - interpersonally-speaking.
We can, and often do, analyse all sorts of connexions and relationships:
love and romance from flings to marriage, and everything in between
business partnerships
best buds and platonic pals
colleagues and rivals
familial relations
karmic relationships and soul connexions
... there are too many to list.
Some of the most fascinating aspects and patterns can be found between bitter enemies! It's rare you'll find those who impacted each other lacking synastric links.
Lately, there's been a push to evaluate specific kinds of synastry and composites, such as Soulmates of various levels of connexion and intensity; and especially the charts and composites of Twin Flames. There's a whole new offshoot of astrology branching from it in order to find and connect those who may be part of the Twin Flame Reunion phenomenon. (More on that for those interested.)
For those who've already graduated Synastry and Composites 101, what's available as a masterclass?
Persona charts: for specific study of types of compatibility and relational impact
multiple composites: to see how groups combine and function as a collective
Draconic synastry and composites: using the Draconic calculation method for evaluating karmic debts, rewards, and what two people may be here to resolve
harmonic charts: certain levels or harmonics can reveal a great deal when evaluated in synastry
progressed composites and synastry: used as a timer, it can help pinpoint why certain relationships begin, end, change direction or phase, as well as show purpose
... and so much more.
Now. Ready? Great!
So. How can you get the most out of this forum?
Start topics with clear, descriptive titles.
If it's something specific you're looking at, make sure the title reflects it. 'I've got a problem', for example, when you're analysing 12H overlays isn't as strong as '12H Overlay: Big Problems'.
It'll help everyone jump into the subject, providing feedback and insight. It's easier for indexing and later reference, too.
Don't just ask - help!
We all have questions for which we're seeking answers. I've found that if we balance the help and support we give with what we hope to receive, a beautiful synergy is created between everything. And wasn't Linda all about the love and harmony?
That being said, here's how you can make it clear what you're looking for:
All new topics beginning with a ? will be seen as 'query' threads.
You're seeking to have a question answered, or are looking for insight. Simply put, you have a problem, and you'd like a solution.
For example:
'? OSIRIS conjunct ISIS in natal chart'
Say you'd like to know how this soulmate pairing might influence your love-life; if it means you're destined to find a soulmate - or even your Twin Flame.
On the other hand, you may want to simply offer information - whether in a general sense, or because many query threads are addressing the same issue.
Just refrain from the initial '?' and make the topic specific, descriptive and explanatory.
For example:
'Natal ISIS and OSIRIS aspects re: soulmate relationship potential'.
Now our 'querents' know to go right to the new topic offered by an 'educator' type.
I'll be looking for these sorts of topics which are clearly 'question focussed', so as to ensure they're addressed in a timely fashion - by someone.
'Do I HAVE to do it this way?'
Certainly not. It's merely a suggestion which could lead to better organisation and improve the overall Q&A flow.
That being said ...
