Even if it's one sided...

Squares to Jupiter? No more expansion together?

I was with my HS sweetheart for 8 years and just kinda felt over it after about 6 but hung in for a few more years before breaking it off

We were only four days apart, I am the older so our charts were actually pretty dang similar except for moon and asc of course

I'm just curious overall, what can end stable relationships? Or lose the spark hence the losing interest and moving on.

I think if you are to alike it can grow boring because the tension and stress is what leads to growth, seeing something different allows you the ability to see how you want to be or don't want to be....

There is a lot to be said for that tension or stress, it's out of chaos life sprang, and it was the tension of opposing forces that created life...we still function the same way!
We need stress to force us to grow, we need something different to see ourselves by comparison, from that we begin the process of adjusting to be what we really want to be.
If everything was all white, life would be boring! It's our contrasts to others that make us stand out. Maybe you felt with him you were a wallflower and you needed someone or something that gave you more contrast and was different so you could grow and define yourself in new way, with more depth than he was able to provide.
That's probably not what you were looking for....

For me it's the south node. Someone I know has been in my life for years but everytime I go back its utterly unfulfilling and makes me think too much of things I have moved passed and would like to forget. His Venus and Mars are conjunct my South Node.

I've only had one person seriously impact my SN, and I did there's also....but we had so much going on all over the place I don't think we would have outgrown each other...actually we still talk n learn from each other.
I've read though it's SN that causes that, also if someone's got to much restrictive Saturn but it's one sided, the burden of the relationship might feel stifling to the non Saturn person and they could feel like they are being held back.

It's the upside-down horse-shoe. Always exactly opposite the NNODE, being an axis.
